i just noticed how in the third house (the lofted one) the ceiling lamps over the dining/kitchen area are just floating attached to nothing. Maybe they wanted to put a beam over there but they forgot...

I noticed that when editing, and also noticed that the cabinets are right on the wall where the balustrade starts so that's weird, you wouldn't want the upstairs dust to fall onto the kitchen counters and cabinets

Granite Falls feels so sad for me idk... small and vacation-only, so i never go there when i reinstall sims 4. i literally dont remember any of those houses💀

At the ranger station on the top, I put a telescope there with my sim and boy can I tell you it was just fun seeing meters fall down 🤣 and sims running 😂😂. I think you rated them well, I agree with it.

11:01 the lights on the first floor (in kitchen/dinning area) really bother me. I personally feel roof lighting need to be supported by a roof or something in the area that makes sense. But maybe I'm just a bit fussy anout lighting in sims lol.

I feel like, with the base game worlds, Granite Falls, Magnolia Promenade, Windenburg (to an extent), San Myshuno and even Selvadorada, the devs were putting some effort into the builds that shipped with the packs. But from Forgotten Hollow to Evergreen Harbor though... they just started to not care as much and each world got worse and worse builds. Then from Mt Komorebi on, the builds started to become good again, since the game changers started doing them.

Unpopular opinion, but I think Vlad's house might be the best in the whole game. 😭 But I understand your point. I think glimmerbrook is by far the ugliest thing I've ever seen, and I've been to the zoo

@@Rekowcski you know, I agree that Vlad's house really is not that bad, it's just a little weird and quirky. I just hate that garlic house and the starter home from that world. Yeah, Glimmerbrook, alongside Strangerville and Del Sol Valley are the worst ones.

If I owned outdoor retreat I would retrofit every one of the four rental houses with expensive televisions, comfy furniture, refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, and dishwashers as well as swimming pools provided we have sufficient space for them. Televisions in every bedroom are a must when doing rental properties. There can only be one computer per rental lot and it must be unbreakable. For the campground I would put three permanent trailers with televisions to replace the tents. All of them would have stoves and televisions.

the world/lot descriptions were added in an update, so the earlier ones don't have them except for the ones they added after the fact to willow creek/oasis springs (but for some reason not every lot in those worlds lol)

Tbf, my great aunt & uncle put an awful bright green sheet metal roof on my childhood home. Perhaps EA was trying to give that last cabin in GF the landlord special on the roof 😆

I build houses for function, not form, and I’m completely colour blind (to the point that I thought that house called Green Retreat actually was green). You would have an absolute field day with my builds! 😂

I actually had one of my Sims live in the Hermit's house. I moved them to a empty lot and they basically never left. The lot is really cozy and I kinda love when my Sims live in places that are away from everyone.

@@sophiedi.2413 Yes, thank you for the offer. I love TS3 and I am on it almost all day and night. I use plenty of mods for Sims 3. If you could suggest some I may not have. Please let me know. Thank you again. I just cannot play TS4 because I do not have enough HD space on my laptop to even play the base game Sims 4.

@stephenspears3206 basically any mod lazyduchess has to offer. She has a fairly newer search bar for the build/buy mode mod. Sims State mod is also 👌. I assume you know about every nrass mod by now. You can do some cool stuff with the careers mod (like go tu University in sunset valley or add supernatural schools). If you have any issues or something like that with the sims 3, in 99% of time, I could help you.

@@sophiedi.2413 I don't have University Life or Super Natural in my game. Too much space taken up. But I will check out lazyduchess and her mods thank you. I do know about the NRAAS mods. I use most of them. Do you know that you can use real cars in TS3 and even replace the taxi, police cars, and school bus with real antique cars? I use them personally. If interested, go to Understrech Imagination, and you can find them there.

I've never played in any of these houses, the only type of sim I send to Granite Falls is the really outdoorsy, camping type, so going to any of these houses never made sense for me.

I remember going camping once with a family of like 7 sims, and there were barely any activities to do, I feel like this pack focused too much on the herbalist skill stuff and not the actual camping vacation, you can’t even swim in the lake because you need island living for that (and even then you can only swim in Sulani…)

I sometimes have my Sims go camping, specially kids. But it's been years since I've been to Granite Falls, the other worlds of the game are already "green enough", Windenburg, Copperdale, MoonwoodMill, etc all have places that are good for then to go camping and sleep outside. Mt Komorebi is also perfect because they can hike and then after they are finished go camping and stay the night. I also have the mod that makes the insects show up in all worlds so yeah, GF is kinda useless.
