I can tell you why it takes so long to not get kicked from a lobby for Cayo from experience - you're joining people who started a lobby to do Cayo either solo or with certain friends but have their lobby open. So you're crashing their party and they don't know why or how to close the lobby from randoms trying to join lol

I'm running solo, but the only way I know to close is on the second screen. And by the time I get there after hitting confirm, someone is already somehow loaded in. So I have to kick. No way I'm running Cayo with a rando, and they NEVER have mics.

Joining a public lobby and forcing them to carry your unprepared self is disrepectful of their time and efforts, they have lives too and shouldn't need to pick up the slack where you can't be bothered.

@jake I think now more than ever how easy it is now. If you can press up on a dpad and spam snacks and have half a brain it's not difficult really. I have thousands of hours but that's over more than 10 years. If that means I don't have a life so be it, but it's not hard like my friend here says there are dozens of you tube tutorials. Most players don't watch GTA KZbin videos and most of them aren't long timers either. That said, I've run Casino heist with randoms for 3 years and can't say I've ever been frustrated. Disappointed maybe, not rage quit annoying. You just have to tell them "either follow my orders or I quit". I don't waste time restarting if they keep walking away from me and alerting the guards.

They can either be good or bad. If you joined another player's heist, you be a random to that host. You wouldn't like it if they called you dumb just because you're a random to them.

The craziest random dungeon I ever did was wow 5 man, Halls of Relfection I think. So many wipes on a pug when it first released.

I can do this heist perfectly solo, can always complete the elite challenge, and only take like 11 minutes to complete, but when I decide to do it with other people we always end up getting caught and derailing the heist.

I approach at the main dock using the longfin, get some secondary loot from the airstrip hangar and shed, go to the drainage tunnel, then just cut it open then get to the glass case, exit by compound gate, then use a bike to launch myself off the map to finish the heist

5:35 if you do the kosatska to the drainage tunnel to the kosatska with two people you can get three gold and get max loot while not going outside the compound

After you set it up. You can "voice of god" them as to what to do or follow them around and watch.

It always a good idea to have a mic and to help players out by telling them what to do. You can also tell them you're gonna quit if they continue to refuse to listen and keep failing the heist.

Randoms can be ok. They're just players you don't know and be either good or bad. Tell them over your mic "you either follow my orders or I quit".

I taught my wife and daughter how to do this heist and we run them in 10-12 minutes elite is fun mostly but also have frustrating moments when gta starts acting glitchy

Well pretty much I go in and clear path of guards and juggy then they start sweeping thru compound filling bags after I grab second key. Then I fill my loot bag one of us grabs target and out we go

To me, Cayo is way too glitchy with more players. Worst is when you spend all that time grabbing the loot and be ready to leave the compound and then the game kicks everyone out. You then have to start all over. Casino is not as glitchy and for that reason I prefer doing that heist with more players.

I think it's far more interesting joining other random's heist. Particularly Casino when you spend 5 minutes driving from Paleto Bay to the casino only for Lester to say "the only way through this door is to hack it"

Yeah it’s dang near impossible to join a random’s Cayo Heist because it’s solo most the time people only do it by themselves or with people they know.

Mostly it's solo, I don't think the payout is worth doing with more players. Not to mention you can only do it stealth for a decent payout because the npc guards are way too aggressive. Casino heist is different. You can do Duggan Shipments and not worry about screwing up the stealth because the guards are a lot easier to kill. I always do silent sneaky switching with Yung Ancester to see what the randoms do. Most times we go in guns blazing and to be honest, they seem to have a lot of fun doing that.

More people is fun, it's just Cayo isn't co op friendly. Not to mention you have to do it stealth unless you're prepared to accept a really low payout. It's not as bad on Casino heist because you can do Duggan Shipments and guards be easier to kill if you go guns blazing. That said, if all players have a mic - it will help a lot with everyone talking to each other.

Everyone does this heist the same way. Kosatka through the drainage tunnel. It's boring. I've been using the annihalator, grappling hook...or I get the guard outfits with a supply truck. Use a variety people. Stop doing the same shit.

I do kostaka. Easier to do then longfin if you have gold and one other person for the key cards . I always finish it under 13 min starting at the kostaka.

@@Y_Ytpt yeah you can go it under the 15 . I just think it’s alot easier with kostaka. The prep mission is easy asf if you have a toredor. You tp with your kostaka steal the sonar jammer. Go back and done . Then the mission you just swim straight . Instead of driving around the mountain 🏔️ . If I have no gold I always get the longfin tho . Always look for three stacks for me and my buddy

There is a serious problem with co op play in gta online. We all waste far to much time in these lobbies, getting kicked, ceos leaving mid game, insane loading screen times, games crashing. Why do we play this game again?!

It's not the game, it's the heist. Cayo is seriously buggy when it comes to co op. That CEO quit message ain't always legit. When you get that last screen, the CEO is still with you in the lobby. How can that be if he quit, he should be gone leaving you all alone but he ain't. None of this is a problem when you play the heist solo.
