When a friend once offered to help me get my daughter to a doctor in another city, I was so sure it was an answer to prayer. She had a plan and promised to take us at the right time. The day before we were to go for the appointment, she called me and said: "sorry", something's come up"; "I won't be able to take you to the doctor". I gasped! I couldn't believe it, and I was "ANGRY"! I did not speak good words! Soon, a woman from church called, and as I told her about it........she offered to help us. I feel that God rescued us from something, and I found out later, that this so-called "friend" I'd met, had a reputation of doing things her way and was known for copping out, and many other hurtful practices, and that she seems to have no care or feelings about living this way. I was flabbergasted, The new lady was a pleasure to drive with and see the day through with.
