Shamefully, they tend to be negative. It's a strange dichotomy bc I see ppl failing to do the bare minimum or failing to "step up and apply themselves " etc; I justify those thoughts by saying " I'm no one. I'm nothing special. If a guy like me can do it, anyone can..." These thoughts are less pervasive lately but they're still there.

How do I help fix an emotionally draining relationship? He’s very closed off on communication right now. In the mindset of “it is what it is” but says he still cares for me and loves me and wants me in his life. How do I help aid in him trusting me again? How do I help him fall back completely in love with me and not feel negative when he thinks of me? I know what I did wrong but I can’t communicate with him about it since he’s closed off and doesn’t “care”.
