Wow, I did not expect to see my laundry video featured in a Kardavox clip at 25:00 ! Thanks for the feedback Mark! I remember that I also thought about that scream when recording and forgot to breathe from all the bending and picking stuff up. Good pointer and good tips! Cheers man!

Thank you Mark! I’m Christian, the second video, I appreciate the advice and the compliments on my tone! I am actually a pretty small person so almost any breathing I do seems exaggerated, there’s honestly minimal effort when I’m taking those breaths and I have pretty good breath control. I was also wiggling around in my chair so all my movements were a little exaggerated. As far as how I use my tongue for tunnels, I make a U shape with my tongue instead of rolling it and pushing it to the bottom of my teeth.

As a burgeoning educator, I found that your approach to teaching and giving constructive, positive criticism is probably the best tactic. Just trashing people, like is so common all over the place on the internet doesn't help much, even if, in the end, the critique is still valid. More treating people like human beings and not piles of shit ❤️

It is utterly ridiculous to compare people new to the metal vocal world to the big names. First of all because it is nothing but disheartening. Second, and more importantly, if we compared those vocalists who have been doing it for years to where they started, those vocalists wouldn't compare to themselves now, after all the experience. Thirdly those people have spent years finding or building their voice and their techniques. We all start somewhere and it's so important to allow people to just be at the start of the journey, because that's the most fascinating time. The only real piece of advice I could give new singers, is learn to enunciate effectively throughout your journey.
