The ko-uchi on the ura nage is just an anchor - it's an attempt to defend, not an attack. Giving the score to the Spanish player seems a bit sketchy to me.

That was my first thought but then I did reconsider - after all Judo is a combat sport and is a way of abstracting real combat. If you manage to lift your opponent up then slam yourself on your own back with force and with them on top of you, maybe that should be a score!

But it needs more than just getting your foot in. And when you are in the situation of trying to throw Ura Nage and your partner's getting their foot in and make you fall on your back first, you can feel that the other one probably deserves a score.

Can you please cover the Ippon against Bergamelli in your video on day 3? Would be interesting to know people's opinions on actions like that, which make your opponent tap but clearly aren't anything but a clean strangle.
