The man who directed these videos is my clubs instructor and he is brilliant. Everything on here is spot on and if you can follow the techniques you will succeed. He is 7th dan, and after around 15 years out of judo coming back into it i couldn't ask for a better tutor.

thank you for the video, I have just one little question: Why after Seionage attempt, you go for the Tani Otoshi from the right side and not from the left side because that's the way I would attempt the throw.

How does grading work? Do you just able to be perform these? Or also have to do competition?

Yes only throws but it must be perfect and the names.

@@emperorjimmu9941 thank you for your reply. I hope to get back into it by end of this year. Last I did judo was about 8 years ago in a different country and I happen to join a Korean community club, so all the names of the throws I know are quite different, but I do recognize the throws. I was a green belt, and might have to start from scratch and go back to white belt, but it will be an interesting experience.

@@robbienathan8615 hope you have started again, I got to green at 14 but came back at 27, I could have got my belt back but decided to go back to white and work my way up again. Just about to go for blue now.

@@richardleybourne6596 no, due to pandemic but waiting to see how things go with the lifting of lockdown and will be hopefully back into it!! Good job on your progression!! I'll need at least 6 months of hard work just to get conditioning right before I think about grading lol
