I love judo. Achieved my black belt 31 years ago. But, after a double hip replacement, I can't do it anymore. 😔 Tim B.

Is there an old video like this demonstrating the use of forbidden Kansetsu Waza? Such as leg locks, neck cranks and other arm locks?

are you sure that it's kimura here? he was definitely tori in part 1, but this guy here looks like he's built differently and has less hair.

Its a shame ifj is killing the essence of real judo

You must be a BJJ fanboy with no real knowledge of Judo. This is one of the mantras of the outsider. What you see in the video is Judo. It hasn't changed since Kano compiled the techniques. Some rule changes were necessary in competition for reasons of safety. Do you think making a martial art safer in order to protect it's practitioners in competition is "killing the essence."? One of the core tenets of Judo is that it is safe to practice.

why don't u guys understand???bjj is simply judo.jiujitsu went out of favor to be replaced with a more advanced and scientific judo.

rear triangle wont work?/ of course it will.. if a bjj guys does its genius but if a judoka does it .. its not possible ..... i did it the other day in class .. its technique . but everyone wants to play in the guard .... when i go down im already movin to half gaurd momentum is key ... say no to guard .... .....green belt judo :)
