Actually, it'd be more correct if it were "Buenano", or "Anobueno". Simon, I remember being on a death watch for my uncle who died of complications of long term alchoholism, one of those was TB. He was treated, but if your immune system is shot, it doesn´t always help as much as it should. This was the seventies. Add the reason for why the use of so many antibiotics in the dairy/meat industry started: there is not only history of cattle carying TB, but also related deseases with similar results in people. My mother, died 2017, with an encapsulated cyst from one of these TB related diseases, probably contracted from growing up around cattle in the 30´s and 40´s. This didn´t kill her. But it was there. TB has also still been here all the time.

Black widow bites can be deadly to children and elderly people. Mid range adults will get sick and some spider bites cause a lesion that takes more than a year to heal, with some tissue necrosis.
@TitularHeroine3 ай бұрын
Yes. I've had spider bites that I suspect were brown recluse, and was given antibiotics (necrotizing bacteria in their bites). Though I was never in any real danger apparently, the wounds were horrifying.
@SolaScientia3 ай бұрын
My sister's boyfriend she had back many years ago got bit by a brown recluse. It took it months to properly heal since the flesh kept just rotting and I think it was resistant to the treatments they were using at the time. I saw him recently (he's now dating a coworker and my sister is also still friends with him even decades later) and apparently he still has a scar from that bite. I love spiders, but I'd rather not get bitten by any of them that's for sure.

My husband was bitten by a black widow on one of his heels a few months ago. Lots of pain and swelling, wicked headache that lasted days, and a fever. NOT a happy man. Quanah, Texas is pronounced “kwan-uh”. At least, that’s how I’ve heard it said. It’s about as close to the middle of nowhere as you can get. The closest cities are Wichita Falls and Abilene and those are 1 hour and 2 hours away respectively. The closest major city is Fort Worth and that’s 3 hours away. The closest town that I know of to Quanah is about 30 minutes away. Not only is it fairly isolated, but the landscape can be brutal. In the summer it’s frequently over 100°F/38°C and humid, with little rain to break the heat. In the winter it’s not as cold as in some parts of the US, but it gets below freezing, sometimes down in to the teens F (~ -10°C), is snowy, icy, and incredibly windy. The landscape is flat as you can imagine. I don’t think it would be a pleasant place to live, but maybe some people like it.

If you give it a chance, I think you should do the cold read format, as your personality pops when you do those, and considering that your fans love your on-screen persona, a lax nature show, covering the weird and strange habits if our worlds most interesting animals might do very well. You could cover less heard of or the most misunderstood creatures on our beautiful and interesting world!
