JUDY. LONDON. 1969. has been selected as TJGE Album Of The Month, and director, Jaycub, has made a video utilizing Judy's opening song from the album featuring remarkable video footage of Judy out and about in London in early 1969, as well as rare photos of Judy onstage at the Talk Of The Town where the album was recorded. Garland's husband, Mickey Deans, and singer Johnnie Ray, can also be seen. By the way, remember Easter Eggs on DVD's? We do too ;) hint.

They used and abused this poor woman until she was wasting away. Living in a London flop house, being sucked dry by everyone around her. I wish there were some true friends of Judy to help her through these troubling times. Rest in glory queen.

Nick Doe You have to remember that admitting that you had an addiction problem in the 60’s was not acceptable, it just wasn’t done! And there was no rehab available. She literally had nowhere to go for help, and her entourage oils never have dreamed of admitting to the world that she has a problem. Plus, they created it. So very, terribly, sad.

Almost everyone says that about this time in her life, but she doesn’t look that bad to me. Maybe it’s just because I love her so much, but I just don’t see it. However, I feel very sad when I see her because of all the men who made so much money off her, and the ones who just outright stole from her. If only someone had taught her how to handle her own money, and not to trust anyone. She should not have died broke! Why didn’t the countless millionaires who loved her just buy her a house and set up a trust fund that no one could touch. They all knew her situation! It breaks my heart.

If only Ms. Judy Garland married a person who provided for her instead of the other way around she could have lived in her eighties glamorously doing what she do best being a great mother and singing for leisure not for torture. one squandered her earnings away in the tracks and this last one pushed drugs and drove her literally to death. Ms. Judy Garland is the most honest, loving and sincere performer the world ever had... this is why millions love her through the ages so much more than she can imagine!

Judy always kept a smile upon her face though deep down she must have been suffering. Couldn't she see what was happening. The studio did not help her but destroyed her instead. She was a big money earner for MGM at the time & they used & abused her talent. She should have looked after herself better but I don't think she was there psychologically. I think her brain had ceased on her too & she expected others to look after her but they bankrupted her instead. What a waste of a great talent & life. She deserved better.

We need to learn from history that the performers we love are often hurting or being harmed in order to give us the performances we cherish. We need to start taking care of people and not letting our greed help the destruction of human beings. I am grateful for what Judy and others have given us during their long walk on this Earth. We need to start caring more about people's health than what they can do for us. I would rather Judy had stepped back from fame and gotten herself okay if it had been possible and lived to be an old lady, than to have had her burned out, in so much pain she had to self medicate, to be dead at 47, and left three children motherless, just so we could all hear her sing or so she could pay some bills. It's NOT ALRIGHT WHAT PEOPLE ARE PUT THROUGH. it's not just performers and athletes. It's also preacher's and politician's children forced into performing and being perfect for their perspective audiences. We need to look out for people and rip apart society's status quo. People like Judy, Shirley Temple, Amy Winehouse and others still living or dead that represent an epedemic - people seem willing to sacrifice for a little entertainment or for life to feel easier. It isn't right.

O my. This is so sad. She was clinging onto everything and everybody that she could at this point, I think. And she probably knew that she was reaching the end. Horrible, such an immense talent and all burned up at that age.

I Go to her grave in the mausoleum in Hartsdale NY sometimes to leave flowers. She's buried in the most random place, a little town outside NYC rite?Well she likely signed her last will when she lived in Westchester CO during the Carnegie Hall year 1961;So the had to bury her there. Not In LA or London but a lovely place where she was happiest. So it is a fitting happenstance.

Deans decided she would be buried in NY. Liza had her remains moved to California in fairly recent years. Judy wanted to be cremated, but the children didn't. Think her wishes should have been honored.

Not to mention over 1,500 concerts from 1950 to 1969 with everyone she knew and trusted were stealing and gambling away all her money. From MGM to her death she was always in debt. She lived a mortgaged life never ever seeing daylight financially!!!!

More so than the drugs is the reality and responsibilities that come with fortune and fame. Some people just can't handle it! They are simply overworked to the point of exhaustion. Agents and record producers don't give a damd about these people... All they want is these people to make them money! Imagine living her lifestyle non-stop travel, parties, charities, performances, filming, personal life, and filming...All the while having to put on that smile and keep the same posture the world expects from her...No thanks ! MGM canned her the second she stopped showing up...Just like companies today, no care whatever about the person, just worried about their money ! The life got Elvis the same way ! Monroe also ! In reality, they died from exhaustion !

you can see from the pictures of her wedding that there was already more death in her eyes than life!...I too wonder why all the rich didnt help her out more? It just goes to show how Americans throw the word Friendship around so freely, but they never really mean it! They dont really know its true meaning while in other cultures friendship is earned and has to grow for a period of time before you befriend anybody, but its the ones who stand by you during hard times who are your true friends,...... and the ones who are quick to show you their backs as they walk away from you,.... are showing you that they never were your friend. ...........
