Bing Crosby, perhaps, said it best: "At her best, there was nothing that girl couldn't do...except take care of herself." This is Judy at her best.

No gimmicks. No wild dancers, no laser show, etc. Just Judy; confident, powerful and doing what she loves. At her best; To this day she has no equal.

The OVERTURE and the dramatic Appearance of this Incredible God Given singer just gives me chills. It all builds up and it's 100% Bedlam from there on til the last note is played for this Special in 1962.

This is actually from her 1962 TV special, not her 1963-1964 TV series show. Her voice is half-way between her Carnegie Hall powerful voice, and her much raspier, weaker voice on her TV show (because the amphetamines to stay thin also dried out her throat). She worked out the scale changes with a pianist, it was a unique way of singing this song that only she could do. t's pretty much a consensus that she would have much better off doing a series of TV specials, rather then subjecting herself to the pressure of a weekly TV show.
