I love how honest she is with her reviews. And talks with brains and logics unlike other KZbinrs. She's right when she says the colors are not dark enough. I am a tone darker than judy and I can imagine a girl with color struggling to use this. The looks would turn out ashy. Colourpop should include more medium/dark colours because somebody with a lighter skin tone can obviously make it work by using a light hand.

I think is one of the most interesting monochromatic palettes from colourpop since yellow isn’t one of those colours that can make a lot depth because it’s so bright...but I will say it’s really cute 💛

5:35 I wore this palette on Christmas Day. The yellow/gold just looked happy. The shadows even show up on my yellow-toned dark olive skin.

Just ordered this after watching you. I found your channel by looking for reviews on this palette. I was on the fence about it but ive wanted to experiment w yellow since the maybelline lemonade palette came out. That was a nice everyday palette but the colors were ones i basically had already & the yellow wasnt great so i returned it. You showed me that this one is totally doable ! Gave me the confidence to finally order it ! Im probably the last person on the planet to get it at this point but its on the way to me !!

I love this color story since I’m so into yellow shadows lately. It looks pretty on you! I agree though the brown could’ve been more pigmented and what they could have done was add more browns just make it more yellow toned and add a deeper mustard tone yellow. I love look number 2 it is so pretty on you! Also love look number 3 for a pretty summer look!! It’s natural but glam and is so pretty with the lip!

I totally agree, they shouldve added a shade or two for transition of deepening looks. It doesnt make sense that some palletes do like the "red" one and some dont. This is a pretty pallete but id probably never reach for it.

Another great review! I haven't used my honey palette yet but I'm excited for it ^_^ I was thinking how it would work so well with the california love palette because that one has deeper yellow/mustard browns from what I see in online pictures. Maybe you can use it to add depth to your looks since uh huh honey doesn't provide that

Judy I wish you could try Midas Cosmetics Lemonade palette. It came out a little sooner and some reviewers believe it is much better than its Colourpop rival. Personally I too prefer the Midas one and would rather support an indie brand.

Since my skin tone is the same as yours I am disappointed how there isn’t enough range of light to dark with these yellows. But your looks are so darn beautiful that I want to buy it anyway! I wonder if I used some deeper medium Browns from another palette that it would help with dimension. I’m thinking maybe from double entendre palette? Brown sugar? Can you suggest browns from other CP palettes that might pair well with this yellow palette?

Thank you for your honest review! It's interesting to see what a look without a dark shade. Are the 9-pan palettes magnetic like the other Colourpop palettes? I've been wanting to get one to be a travel compact with mirror. I like to depot my Colourpop palettes and move the pans around. It's super easy: Place a tissue between the top of the pan and a magnet (I simply use a bag clip magnet). Place flat and pull up. I'm hesitant to buy other brands now because then I end up pulling out three palettes for three different shades. I recently got one of the singles palettes and have four of the pressed glitters. Some are so chunky. They do stick on their own, but I like using the NYX Glitter Glue so it adheres exactly where I want it to. Boombaya over Yes, Please is beautiful.
