The creator of colourpop said he wanted to introduce a “fast fashion” mentality to makeup. From idea to being available on the website to purchase is 5 days, so they only release new products and never go back to restock. It’s a headache for sure

The lip tint crayons are so my favorite lip product of all time, any brand. I adore those. I have a bunch of the Lux lipsticks too, which are great, but the crayons are what I most often reach for. And I have and love several of their 9 pan palettes. Absolute essentials.

We have similar eye shapes and I definitely use to follow other youtubers with more eye space, and then would imitate what they did and never could figure out why I couldnt get my makeup right. I started faithfully watching your channel because I have older, hooded eyes without much lid space, and your tutorials were the first ones that helped me. The cut crease was the only one that has ever made any sense. Your lip swatches are the only ones I trust! I have some shadow singles favorites to share (in order of most loved): Team Captain, Heavenly, On a Whimsy, Chauffeur, 20 Something, Now & Zen, Koi, Solstice with the Mostest, Tea Garden, (Neutrino), and (The Big 3). I think the Misunderstood palette is the most underrated Colourpop product. I depot my shadows and make my own palettes (or dupe ABH, etc.). When I look for the prettiest shades to include, Misunderstood and My Little Pony are the two I most use. I love the Tapered Blending Brush, and after learning your technique for using the Blending Brush with wet metallics for a diffuse application, I love it, too. The Just a Tint lip crayons are amazing. Fortunately, Maui Wowie has replaced my all-time favorite Lux Lipstick Dream Easy which was discontinued. City of Stars is an awesome "I have a Zoom Meeting and need just a little something to look pulled together" lipstick.

I used to purchase fairly regularly from colourpop, but it became so overwhelming with their weekly releases. I’ve decluttered a few of their products because I wanted a smaller collection. I do like the price point of colourpop. I have the Going Coconuts palette, four super shock shadows, tinted moisturizer, hydrating setting spray, sponge, & flexitarian highlighter. I’d like to try their lip stick once I use up a few tubes in my current collection.

Thanks for this video. You are totally right; it’s so hard to choose what to buy from the Colourpop site. I only own Yes,please. I want to try more eyeshadow palettes. I want pink mauve tones and peach ones. I like to wear muted romantic looks. I’m not into bright looks bc I’m not very young. I prefer a sophisticated look over a modern one. I'm asian and with that comes minimal lid space, and it made me really frustrated because makeup looks I saw in youtube weren't working on me. Entering the k-beauty and j-beauty community allowed me to see how I could make looks that work with my eye shape, and your channel has shown me that I can experiment with color as well! Our lid shapes are still quite different, but having you as a reference is definitely a jumping off point.
