I made friends with a guy at work. He born and raised on the bank of the mississississippy river we got to fishing the Arkansas river and first thing he wanted to catch is dad gum turtles. Man we would go get 2 packs of cheap steak. On the way down river I would cut it in 1 inch pieces.he said u will catch it or your bait will still b there and he was correct. His wife would cook them and he would bring it to work
