I still remember my ball experience....Me and my friend Shukla took liberty and went to Pune, I studied in Sainik School and never had spoken to girls...He also never had an experience of talking with girls...Worst we were never the Cool dudes of our batch.....We clumsily approached a lot of girls and Failed miserably😋... Nevertheless we had a good lunch and came back to the Academy.. On the day of the ball, when I came down the stairs my Coursemate introduced me to a girl, who came here to meet her partner and her partner had selected some other girl at the last moment....He asked whether I can be her ball partner....That is one of the few luckiest moments of NDA...I took the girl to the cafe, had coffee and proceeded to the Ball...We were dancing when I suddenly noticed that Shukla too had managed a partner at the last moment😃.... The best part was most of the Cool Dudes and High performance types whom we envied were STAG that night🤣 Me and some douchebags like me....did get lucky at the last moment to the amazement of the common folk🤣 PS - We both got our act together after the Academy and later became Directing Staff for the Cadets Years after ..........I recounted this incident to Shukla's wife and mine at his residence in NDA, when he was posted as a Directing Staff😇 Zindagi kaise yeh paheli hai...
