@IStevenSeagal Civil War was such a mixed bag because the personality of so many people was written poorly. Reed turned on his family, a line he would never cross. It's just not him. So Civil War had some great stuff in it but so much of the story depended on characters not behaving as they should.

@@rohitsinha8404 My dude, Juggernaut is probably the most physically strong character in all of Marvel aside from a couple specific Hulk incarnations, of which War Hulk is not one, when Cyttorak is actually pleased with him. Problem is, he's rarely actually allowed to utilize his full power. Cyttorak only grants it to him when he's behaving selfishly and/or destructively. Even the faintest trace of altruism will see the absolute crap nerfed out of him.

⁠@@tek512 It’s the unstoppable force vs. the immovable object. In this case, Hulk is the immovable object and Juggernaut is the unstoppable force. To your point, Juggernaut is unstoppable once he starts moving and/or gains momentum. The one thing you're leaving out is that the Hulk (even World War Hulk) is the immovable object because he is literally immortal without magic or anything of the sort. Yes, Bruce Banner has been stripped of his gamma radiation before, but there are only a few beings who possess that ability, and they have no immediate relationship to Bruce Banner or even cross paths with him. It always goes wrong in the end, though, so Bruce Banner having the Hulk as a duality is always a constant. Juggernaut, however, is directly linked to the gem of Cyttorak for his power, and the crimson deity is known to nerf Cain's power. That already makes him more vulnerable, as the Hulk will never lose his source of power; in fact, he will only get more powerful on an infinite measure. In this storyline, at this point in time, Hulk was merely warming up, similar to a Super Saiyan. Once Hulk is fully charged up as World War Hulk, like when he fights Sentry with ease, Juggernaut is not winning that fight, even as powerful as he is. He may not die, but he’s surely being “redirected,” lol.

I've argued and debated about this fight for years. I have all the scans and I've broken it down panel by panel to show that until he was removed he was straight up beating the Hulk. I've always thought they represented unstoppable force meets immovable object. This was one of Cains brightest moments and shows off his potential. He absolutely takes it to one of the strongest incarnations of Hulk. Back when that meant something. Power scaling is dead in modern Marvel.

I don't know if Jugg or Hulk would have won, but I think even Hulk knew Juggernaut could keep him delayed for a long ass time and decided to remove him from the fight.

Hulk beat jugs in the crimson dimension. Everyone takes this out of context and thinks hulk couldn’t win. It’s the fact he didn’t want to have long fights since he only came back to fight and beat those who hurt him. Hulk has more wins over jugs anyway. 6 wins while jugs has 2-3.

After reading this, Avengers VS X-Men could've ended earlier had the Avengers called the Hulk from the start. At the end of AvX, Hulk was holding his own against Emma Frost whereas the rest of the Avengers were trying to subdue Cyclops.

What I love about this fight is how incredible the Hulk was to stop the Juggernaut while the two struggle with their arms. the Hulk releases Cain and shows us the tremendous power that Cain was making to move forward (where he ends up in the river). Once again the Hulk did something impossible. Even when He wasn't interesting on the fight

Like Deku defeating Muscular, or Spider-man beating Juggernaut, or Spider-man surviving the Phoenix Five, or Thanos knocked Galactus down or every Morlun encounter. Just picture Green Lantern fighting Zod on his own. No reason he should win this but in the end after breaking his arm and using every ounce of willpower he has, he's able to for a few seconds knock out Zod which throws him into a black hole or something

Yes but you're also ignoring the context for all those hulk has faced, Black bolt was actually a skrull in this storyline, Ghost rider(Zarathos) spared Hulk because he didn't care, Doctor strange was weakened by Hulk after his hands were broken and we later find out in chaos war Zom strange was holding back Zom and in chaos war they have a rematch where Zom dominates Green scar. Sentry was mentally unstable and therefore weaker and even then Hulk had to talk him down instead of beating him into submission.
