To me the paint work and sculpt is fantastic on both pieces, BUT in my opinion there is only 1 juggernaut and he doesn't address people like a argument in a McDonald's drive through, and he certainly never played for queens park rangers, Sheffield united etc, the film variant i hate and is very similar in disappointment, kind of like street fighter the movie or guyver many other comic book to film adaptations, depends what ya into, but if your someone like myself who grew up with marvel, DC, Manga anime then its gonna be really tough pleasing that audience with the real version or take on things, I think juggernaut in deadpool was 100% much more on point, luckily this statue is painted very well and can still escape the ex football player look, I say keep em both 🤣 a massive thankyou to Mr X love your content and your humour and passion for what you do, seriously awesome collection thanks so much dude. Your wolverine and venom collection is fucking crazy, I'm lying all of your collection is fucking crazy would love to get my hands on all them, that's what she said, love from the uk dude

To me, this is absolutely no contest at all for my taste. The dynamic pose, muscularity, comic book accuracy and overall impact of seeing that SideShow piece for the first time is something I would look for in a statue. I like walking in the room and being forced to go "Holy fuck" when I see a statue for the first time because of its visual impact. That was the feeling I got when seeing the Side Show statue the first time. If I'm being 100% honest, when I first saw the custom statue in this video, just standing there..... My very first thought was "Oh, there's that shitty character from the X-men 3 movie". It's pretty bad, when the first thing my mind does is not even think of the statue, but instead jumps to a shitty character I watched in a movie. And that's a result of the statue not having that 'X' factor, or visual impact, to let my mind supersede the movie character connection. And don't get me wrong.... I love Juggernaut in general as a character. For my taste, hands down the SS piece. It makes its own statement. The custom one leaves the owner trying to make excuses for why it's good. It all starts from the impact of the statue. The SS is 'Mr. X' worthy. The custom one leaves Mr. X having to defend it with minor details ;) Haha! But to each their own :)

@@TheXtremeChannelMrX I think my response might have unintentionally come off a bit harsh. I think you make a great point with people's opinions being different if the film was never made. I think my bigger issue (and this is just my shitty opinion) is that when the statues are just standing in the most basic museum pose, it doesn't do the character justice for me. The energy and wow factor of walking into a room full of statues all standing in the same pose just staring at you vs a room full of statues that are all in different dynamic action poses just speaks volumes to me. The dynamic posed room just feels 'alive' and full of adventure. Where as a room full of museum poses almost feels like a bad dream where a morgue has been reanimated to have a bunch of characters just standing there staring at you. Hahaha! But I'm a nerd and I'm probably overthinking all this. LOL

The custom is not Juggernaut its more of a gladiator .. you cant put that next to a hulk or Thor, no way.. the SS version is exactly as Juggernaut should be.

I prefer SS. Even though I consider Juggy's comic outfit to be a bit silly, it's such an imposing dynamic 1/4 scale that the overall coolness factor wins out over the outfit shortcomings. That said, the custom paint and sculpt is well done.

The Sideshow version in my opinion is superior , the custom Juggernaut/ Toad being developed looks very impressive though . Very interested to see how it turns out 🤘🏽.

They're both awesome statues. If I had to choose it'll probably be the side show. I love the dynamic pose but I hate that it takes up so much space. Both paint jobs are really nice. I agree with you on the custom portrait. It could've been better. If it was a better portrait I would've made that the winner. But like you said it's all about personal preference. Love these rumbles.

I like the base on the sideshow one better but for overall Id pick the custom piece because of the paint and detail and also because there are only 15 in existence. I'm a big fan of low numbered pieces of anything. Side note #1: The audio sounds much better with the microphone than the lapel mic from before. Side note #2: The term is called shooting from the hip not shooting by the hip. I'm here all day if need be :)
