It just shows how wide ranging whip training can go. Aaron can juggle, so he put that into his routine. Clearly, Jaques cannot, but makes cracks come fast n furious. (The whip cracks bunches, too!) Just different dudes, with different styles & skills, enjoying the hell out of their craft, and I am here for it.

Can't wait for Jacques ze Whipper to come to the Ren Faire in Washington State!!! Trying to get some folks together, so we can loudly suggest some new songs for Jacques to whip out. Picture it.... Cameras circling an alpine meadow, focusing in on a tall Frenchman with whips. Suddenly, he begins to belt out, "Ze heels are alive, wees ze sound of WHIPPING!!" Or.... Jacques backed by a bank of stained glass windows, pumping out "WHIP every mountain!!" You are the best!!! Looking forward to more great content and incredible abilities.

There's something fascinating about watching a person very skilled at their chosen discipline trying something adjacent/similar. They're very competantly trying but 'failing', but it's facsinating watching them trying to use their own expertise in a new way. Like athletes trying a completely new sport. You got this, Jacques! Juggling whips, how cool! I learned to juggle in high school because it always looked a bit like magic to me. Jacques, don't give up on it. I bet if you learn to juggle using balls or (preferably) bean bags first, then you'll have no problem switching to juggling whips once you're used to the pattern. Because the pattern is pretty much all juggling really is. You can do it! Oui oui!

I liked hearing her laughter, she added to the ambiance of it all. It's like filming in front of a live studio audience, you want to hear the laughter or the applauding, it's part of the show. Same here, this wasn't a scripted show, it doesn't need to be polished to that extreme. This was friends hanging out and trying each other's records while being filmed by the third friend. Besides, who doesn't like hearing laughter?! I'd much rather she were laughing than crying in terror.
