Shout out to Donna for requesting this. Thank you! I love this song and her voice is captivating. Like you said, this is before autotune, so we're hearing just pure talent. I have to suggest "Just Call Me Angel In The Morning" and "Queen Of Hearts' and "It's A Heartache" Sadly, she is one who gets lost in the shuffle when people talk about great female singers. In her case, Juice is a nickname, but as for who names their kid Juice, I had to laugh, because two of my friends are teachers and they have told me some of the names they have encountered, and Juice would be a blessing compared to some of them.
@MississippiPrepper28 күн бұрын
The last one, "Its a Heartache" was from Bonnie Tyler. The others are her, and very awesome.
Sounds different when you're older, you can feel it inside. 💗

The way she reaches up and grabs those money notes has ALWAYS given me chills. Her vocals are absolutely INSANE. Love it in Angel of the Morning - but this one takes it to the NEXT level. Music like this does NOT exist in this day and age. Cheers from Ontario, Canada :)

ask your local store to carry it!!! Juice was popular or both the country & adult contemporary & MOR channels - She was one of my top female singers at the time!!! Of course, back then we were not so quick to pigeonhole artists as we are today - we had true artist who could walk out on a stage & preform - no electric anything!!!!!! We just LOVED great music - her Queen of Hearts is just as awesome - as is he Angel of the Morning!!!! A GREAT rabbit hole!!!!!

She was very popular back in the early 80's this song was #1 on the billboard country chart's in 1982, and #7 on the Pop chart's, she was pretty popular for several years. Please react to Tracy Byrd, song "LOVE LESSONS" think you will enjoy it, he has a great voice. Thanks. P.S. her real name was Judy Kay Newton, she had it changed to Juice Newton, in 1978 thought you might be interested!!

Juice is of course not her given name. Probably a younger sibling who couldn't say Judith. My favorite song of hers has always been Angel of the Morning, but this a really great display of her "instrument". One of the reasons guys that we don't hear this kind of talent today (at least in Country) is that the people in charge are only concerned with how the videos will look, because they figure they can electronically fix the vocals if needed. A lot of really talented gals and guys are being told they are too country for country music. Everybody out there check out a guy named Mo Pitney and a young woman named Lauren Mascitti. They are both incredible writers and singers. They are in Nashville still and working hard. I am leaving a link of Lauren singing something she wrote and is singing from a few years ago. Actually it's 2 songs. She was attending her 1st songwriters festival and someone gave up some of their time to let her be heard. Give it a listen everyone. Oh and BTW I do not know either of them personally. Just heard them on KZbin. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZ3NkKVseaZ5ras

So an artist I recently came across that blew my mind is Delta Goodrem. Look up her cover of "The Show Must Go On" from the Global Citizen Live performance at the Sydney Opera House. It absolutely melted my mind and left me sitting there stunned! Another Artist I found earlier this week is Sydney Christmas. She just won Britain's Got Talent and all three performances, "Tomorrow", "My Way", and "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" were absolutely phenomenal! Talk about a talented young powerhouse!

Ok, subscribing. I submit a bit of the origins of metal may be in order. Search and Destroy by The Stooges or Kick Out the Jams by MC5. On the retro country I always liked Jerry Reed's Eastbound and Down. It aint deep, but its fun! Good videos!

Great reaction! Some superb female country singers to check out: Carlene Carter - The Sweetest Thing (completely different song from this one - just the same title) Dottie West - Lesson in Leavin' Emmylou Harris - literally anything, but I'm partial to Prayer in Open D Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, and Dolly Parton - I think you've reacted to Dolly and Linda but you haven't done all three singing together. Try The Sweetest Gift. Connie Smith - Once a Day Kathy Mattea - either Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses or Where've You Been

Obviously She's not country, but with y'all being rock and metal guys what's your opinion on Lzzy Hale? I was introduced to her when she performed with Eric Church at the CMAs a while back. I've thought about bribing for it, but when the Songs title is literally "That's Damn Rock and Roll" and the only thing remotely country is Eric Church's voice I kinda figured y'all might think it's breaking the Rules.
@BourbonCountryReacts22 күн бұрын
