man I love this kind of minecraft content, edited playthroughs nowadays are too flashy and annoying specially when they use subtitles for everything they say. It is apparent that they are desperate for retaining their audience's attention. Your content is edited enough where it is enjoyable to watch and doesn't get boring, yet it doesn't melt your eyes flashing all kinds of shit at your screen. I have really high hopes for your next videos, keep it up!

Not the subtitle slander.... I agree that this lower energy video format is far more calming to watch but subtitled help a lot of people with audio processing issues understand the video better & there really is no need to criticise them. (Especially when the subtitles are in youtube itself, rather than built into the video)
@turb0j
@turb0j Жыл бұрын
16:00 there is a sneaky MINUS ONE in the spawn platform calculation - you build the platform too high, which won't work. You can also place the platform quite a few blocks lower without any noteworthy reduction in the rates - the calculated hight is the highest possible minus one. You can tell when building it - the player spawn protected area covers the whole platform only when you are standing in the middle. Fortess mobs should be spawning on the platform itself when standing on the sides or in one of the corners - which makes building in survival a bit tricky. No mobs spawning can be an early indicator that the platform was too high.

If anyone else struggling with pushing villagers into those individual cells for most iron farm designs, break the slabs underneath them. They won’t walk off if it’s high enough, so don’t bother placing dirt around everywhere either. Breaking the slab. The villager instantly gets into bed at nighttime.

The only thing you need to remove is the top layer for the iron farm to work again, they work better when uncovered for some reason

Ahh I enjoyed watching this so much :) but ATTENTION: in order for the witherskeletonfarm to work you need to deactivate all chunkloaders (and there can't be any players in the overworld...shoudn't bother you tho since you're in singleplayer)

How many days you spent for this entire world sfdsfs :D I just wonder. and I wanna calculate the hours you played. I think it is not a 100 days video. It was a amazing video series of two videos. I liked and subscribed. I hope you make better and more videos like this.

wither skeleton farm is placed too low or too high. If you are 128 blocks above it, only the platform and above is eligible for spawning, either you are 129 above it and nothing spawns, or under 128 and monsters spawn everywhere

That looks like Ianxofour’s design for a wither skelly farm, are you sure you were up high enough above the nether roof? The skeletons shouldn’t be able to spawn anywhere else except for that platform, because mobs don’t spawn after a certain radius from the player

Bro really spawned a wither skeleton with a skull equipped lol. You can see its head doesn’t flash read when it takes damage 15:31 To compare, here’s what a normal one looks like 16:13

quick tip for manuvering villagers: the best way to move villagers without minecarts/boats is with bells. if you ring a bell, no matter the time of day, all nearby villagers will run to the nearest bed (i don't think it matters if the bed is claimed or not). i used this in the exact same iron farm design that you have here, and it was SO useful - no rails needed. maybe that would have been useful when you were doing this ;)

If you want to get a beacon fast without a farm go to a fortress with render distance 5 and lots of wither skeletons are gonna spawn. Also it 8s better to have a soul sand valley or a warped forest fortress to encrease the spawn rates even more. Also if the fortress is above a lava lske it also helps. Using a smite 5 looting 3 sword you can also one hit kill pigmen with crirical hits and not anger them plus you clear the mob cap to spawn more wither skeletons qnd gain exp to repair your armor. And if there are way too many mobs then just fly 16 chunks away turn your render distance up to 16 then lower back down to 5 and fky back and you got tons of wither skeletons. Ps : this is like fortess guide holy Ps2: put food in your offhand!

Could definitely be improved by adding even more exaggerated Englishness. Was disappointed when you picked up the golden apple, and I didn't hear "OI FOWN' ME A GAPPUHWL." Otherwise, very good sir, pip pip cheerio and God save the king. - Love, from across the pond.
