Thank you so much, I've been trying to find out if I can find a second battery for a crosscurrent s2. I didn't realize it was so simple. The custom battery case made it seem very proprietary. I'd love to know which battery makers on eBay are quality and safe. ❤

Thanks for the video. I used 2 em3ev 52v 20ah batteries before my custom built bike was stolen. Just ordered the hyperscrambler 2 as a replacement and going to use my 1 remaining battery to boost the range with this method. Only problem is my battery uses a xt90 connector so I have to figure out a connector to get me from xt90 to xt60.

Well... my new battery..on the way. Has a deans t female. And I want to connect it to xt60. So i need to buy a xt60 to deans t. But... should the xt60 li eading to the battery be nale or female ? So my battery dont start on fire. And what should be connected male or female to the controller ? I dont have your exact bike. But if it 8s not polarized correctly it should blow up or something.

So you have to buy a charger that works with the new battery? You can't use the stock scrambler charger? Also when you plug in the battery under the seat does the display on 5he handle bars work to show how much battery you have left?

Rack for an extra battery sounds like the best way. Close to the controller under the seat too. Doesn’t it come with a rack?

Chris Hall Yes it does have a rack. The length of the rack isn’t as long as the battery. I am assuming that the rack needs to be the same length as the battery for maximum security. As for under the rack. The hyper has additional wiring due to the brake lights and blinkers.

Yeah. Honestly the scorpion doesn’t offer than many good mounting spots.

You can customize a box that fit the extra battery, then attach that box to the rear rack by some hardware found at Lowe's or Home Depot.

Will the battery work with the xt60 connector? that is for charging it, I have one form him also and i use the xt90 to plug in to the bike and the xt60 to charge it with.

Battery connects to controller with xt60. You charge it with another cable. For me, I chose xt90 for charging. You can charge it will plugged in.
