What I would absolutely do, my friend is to remount the rear taillight/brake/turn-signal assembly all the way to the rear for your road safety, especially since you spend the amount of time you do on it in your job. That rear bag blocks everything. If it's not something you either have the time or capacity to do yourself, find an equipped someone to do it and pay them. I can't imagine being on the road without visible lights behind me as cars come up from behind. Thanks for the review.

15k miles and this bike still works. Definitely a solid bike I just wish it wasn’t so heavy. Was in my top 3 list on bikes to get during the Black Friday sale

Pedaling takes alot of torque/stress off the motor. I like to take over the torque with a aggressive 1,2,3 pedal before every level up. And always let every level max out before raising a level up to minimize the torque. Especially uphill, is where manual torque is always needed.
@alamorides4485

I've tried pedaling only after the first motor blew out. It doesn't do squat to prevent motor damage.

Got 7000 miles on my Hyper Scorpion no problems with the motor except it’s load as hell . Sounds like it’s going to blow up kinda sorta grinding /clanging in race mode. But 7000 miles and no problem starts up every time and cruises at 30 easy (I pull of the throttle to let it chill and give it some more juice noise go’s and it settles in just fine. Maybe I get 10,000 miles sure seems that way. I bought a Scorpion X for back up in case the Hyper blows up and I need a bike when I send out for a new motor. Strangely after 400 miles the Scorpion X motor stoped working. It was under warranty so Juiced fixed it. Love both bikes know all ebikes have their issues. The guys at Juiced take care of me when I need them so it’s all good. I do food delivery to. All best man!

Great review, I've been riding ebikes in Brooklyn ny for the last 14 years, I'm always interested in the durability of these ebikes motors,I had to junk plenty of my bikes because of the plastic gear motor s failing because years ago there weren't any places to repair ebikes and electric scooters..thank god there's repair shops all over Brooklyn now because everyone is buying pevs now and saving mad money 💰 like I am..thanks for the review my dude..

those geared hub can't really take 2000W peak long term. But they're so much more efficient than direct drives. Changing gears in a geared hub isnt so difficult to do yourself. But this is definitely a reliability concern.

I’ve only 600 miles on mine and I’m waiting on the 3rd replacement Bafang rear hub motor. The bearings keep wearing out. On my first motor the bearings wore out and the shaft snapped at 165 miles. The power cable to the hub motor used to enter through the center of the shaft therefore the shaft was hollow on one side, but the bearings should not be wearing out regardless. My only other real complaint with the bike itself is that the brakes are way too small and they too wear out quickly. Other than that, I love this bike! On the other hand, I’m not so happy with their service department. I purchased two bikes at the same time. I got the hyper scrambler 2 for me and the hyper scorpion for my girl. We love the bikes but our experience of the service department has been something less than competent. Not to mention they charge extravagant prices for replacement parts. They want $700 for a new 1000 watt bafang motor that I’m able to purchase myself through a different supplier for 250. They also wants $750 each for replacement batteries. The whole bike cost 2500 with two batteries. How can you justify 750 for one replacement battery??? I understand everybody is in business to make profit but this is ridiculous. I find it so offputting I will not purchase another one of their bikes!!!!!!!

Nice review! I have the Ariel rider grizzly and the motors last longer due to one in the front and in the back so less stress on the gears, both 1000w. Only downside is its double the power usage using 2 motors. so, to take off, I'll use both motors, then when I get up to 30 mph or so, ill switch to rear motor only to maintain speed. I had the hyper 2 for a little bit but it always dragged ass in hilly seattle, hyper2 for sure lasts longer (gets more miles on a charge) with only having to use 1 single motor but I just hated being so slow on these hills! 6k miles and no problems. my v1 grizzly has 5k miles on it and my v2 has almost 6k, and my D class has 10k...same as you, I do food delivery.
@DanielLopes-jt8yl
@DanielLopes-jt8yl Жыл бұрын
It all depends in regard to these motors. My Hyper Scorpion has 7000 miles no problems that affect the power and starts every time. I also got a Scorpion X (for back up) and the motor blew at 400 miles. Juiced fixed it and sent it back with some goodies too. I hear the Super 73 RX motors blow. Ariel Ryder is having reports of their motors; seems the metal mixed with plastic for strength has issues due to- plastic and metal (heat) expanding differently. Honestly get the bike you like that fits. Then work it up with aftermarket upgrades, change out, adjustments etc. Build the build. You gotta like the bike when you get on it. It’s got to feel good when you ride.

Hey Alamo i just got my Hyper Scorpion perfect time for summer deliveries i have a question these 52 v batteries are ass even with pedal assist level 3 i only get like maybe 2hrs 30 minute ride i tend to switch back and forth between throttle pedal assist level 2 and 3. But my question is do you think a 72 volt battery might get me that so sweet 70 mile range im looking at one battery brand that KZbinr Uncle Fjester uses
