Things have changed quite a lot since this video was made. The Ariel is now $2,199 while the Hyper Scrambler 2 (with 2 batteries) is being discontinued and is currently on sale for …$1,999!!!!

Great video. Just received the 52v and it is an absolute blast. The extra features that come on the juiced are nice but do not warrant 800.00 dollar price difference. You can get those features for under 200.00 dollars easy after market

X class. Can add extra battery and upgrade almost everything else to reach the base price of the hyper. Not to mention the hyper is gigantic seeing as the Ariel has a stand over height of 34 inches( measured to the top of the seat) the metal planetary gears in the motor on the Ariel are far superior to the nylon gears on the hyper.

I changed my handle bars on my Ariel Rider X to BMX bike handle bars way safer and I added a front wheel motor system and air horn 2nd battery that made it the fastest best bike in class now also the stock new X like I got come with turn signals and day time running light's in the head light and tail light and rear brake light
@theethnicist5678 Жыл бұрын
@Alphonso Tate How far do you get with the second battery 🔋 and does weight factor in? Would also add where'd you have your x-clas mod at? I love my bike. The only thing I truly dislike are the factory handlebars. I've very broad shoulders and handlebars it came with are super narrow to me.

Hi, I see the hs2 gives you kwh/mile. Is this instant or for the entire trip? I always wanted to compute while I ride the bike so I know what the most efficient speed is. Like cars show you current mpg as you go in different conditions. the Ariel models don't have this right? Also, this bike has cruise control so I can use my right hand? See, I have an injury in my right arm which makes it numb and painful when holding the throttle. I need this!

Great video. The juiced bikes are what got me into ebikes. Back to their first Chinese factory video. I think the design of the Ariel riders is ungainly. Beauty is important to me. For this kind of money I like the Sondors mad mods. Style and performance. The stand over height on both bikes looks problematic. Also the '20 wheels make these small vehicles. The Sondors have 24' in wheels. I have rural traffic and want to be as visible as possible! Happy riding😊

Only wish the mad mods went over 25 mph - add a passenger and it'll get even slower...

hyperscrambler is quite tall and both have pretty upright riding position stock. wheel size is relevant but not in visibility.

I added a 2nd triangle battery with an Fusion Battery Blender, alarm, fog lights, rear view camera, mirrors and that certainly didn't cost me an extra $1300! I can add a third battery (which I'm doing), and it still won't amount to the extra $1,300 extra. My 52V can smoke this Scramber.. sorry dude. It also looks better with the BMX handle bars. $2200 vs $3500 - no contest here

@@barcode.archive yup went with x class since i preferred the look at the time and added quite a few mods (2nd battery, turn signals, etc,). However they came out with a newer version which improved some things. Definitely check Facebook group for inspiration on what you can do. I plan to upgrade the motor and battery down the road... so I can keep up with traffic when there are no bike lanes (I use the bike for commuting sometimes).

You really need mirrors when riding in traffic, and especially on group rides with Onewheelers! Although both bikes have brake lights, the Ariel Rider light is dim, and the brake light function does not work when the taillight is on (on some models). I actually prefer a bell for trail riding where there are pedestrians, but yeah: nobody is gonna hear that in city traffic!

not a deathtrap if youre checking tightness constantly but ugly af and certainly more likely to fail, expecially if youre not on top of checking/tightening.

@inGear Could it be that you didn't tighten handlebar clamp good enough? 🤔 just asking?
@theethnicist5678 Жыл бұрын
Do not let one person's mishap discourage you from such a fabulous bike. I own an Ariel Rider X-Class 52v. I weigh 245 lbs. I never had this type of problem. There are plenty of videos with others who're happy owners of this wonderful ebike, and they've no complaints of similar problem. I'm not by no means demeaning InGears incident. His could have been a one in a few rarity? I will tell you this. The only complaint that I have with factory handlebars is that they're too narrow for me. I intend on replacing them. Other than, the Ariel Rider X-Class 52v is a lot of fun!! The bike has nice power 🔋 and speed. I weigh 245 lbs. I've actually gotten up to a surprising 37 mph speed in the city. In fact, I've had to slow down on 30 mph streets due to heavy police patrol. 🚔 The bike has great take-off with (PAS) Pedal Assist. Once on throttle, I have always found myself passing other vehicles on 30 mph traffic streets. Unless you've made up your mind to purchase some other ebike. Don't scratch the Ariel Rider x-Class bikes. You'll be glad I'm telling you this. Experience one first by riding someone who already has one. Then, repost a comment.

I am pretty sure you just don't tighten your stem. As this kind of stem is very popular among many types of e-bikes. Your videos start to sound very one sided.
@inGearAdventure3 жыл бұрын
I wish buddy! We've tightened them on both X-Classes multiple times, at risk of overtightening. It'd be understandable if it happened once, but for it to continually happen on two bikes seems more than coincidental to us. But hey, we could be wrong!
