When you're a guest in a Filipino home, you'll get the best bed and the hosts will sleep on the floor.
@ameenatalabucon17274 жыл бұрын
That’s true i did that with 1 pilipina as she needs plsce to stay i slept on the floor N gave my bed to her which she stayed with me for months for free everything ( can’t remembered for how long ( Months ) i let her stayed as she said she was new in Bahrain..I’m afraid that anyone would do harm for her especially in Mid East but unfortunately when i showed her as i thought she can be trusted so 1 night i showed her my gold that I’m keeping for my sisters n mum for when I’m going back for vacation to give as a gift ..She stolen 1 of my ring I couldn’t find it😣Then she did not show-up..she just left 😥 It just a ring.. But still i keep helping as I believed that “ our fingers are not all the same..As out of 10 she is the bad one only..But never judge the next one whose in need a helping hand❤️🌎🇵🇭

Generosity is inherently a Filipino trait. Back in 88 when I was traveling with two aunts in Rome, we couldn’t find a place to stay. We met this group of Filipino at a McDonald’s restaurant and when they somehow found out about our dilemma, one of the ladies said, look you guys still have some sightseeing to do, right? What about if you meet us at this piazza at say 10 pm when you’re done and you can stay with us. For some reason, we trusted them and they did exactly that. They met us at the agreed upon piazza, gave us a bed for the night, camaraderie and the next morning even saw us partly on our way off to the next destination. Three decades later I am still amazed by what those guys have done for us. And all we can do is pay it forward.

My mom would feed every kid that’s passing by our house if they look like they’re lost, or if they look like they don’t have much, and we are struggling ourselves too. She would even shower them, give them all the clothes she thought we don’t need anymore, but we were also very poor. I thought that was really normal. I feel like this is really the kind of people we are. Sure, you would come across evil amongst us, but that is a given in every race, but i must admit that majority of us are like this. TRIVIA: the crazy thing about us if you sleep in other people’s houses you get the best bedroom, or the best bed or the couch if the bed doesn’t have a mattress, i know it sounds crazy but it’s true.

They relate their experience and both personal honest opinion without being too judgemental to other people. The way also they react is just so authentic and ot unlike other foreign youtuber that react to filipino video just to please and impress filipinos. With george and lucy, I can feel the sincerity because they relate and yes prolly because of their experience. They level up this channel and its not just simply reaction, it feels more like you share something good to your friend and your friend will react and both of you will just have this connection. I can still remember when there was a person knocking in our door with scratches in his forehead, arms and he is walking bare footed and when we asked him what happen he said that a group of men beat him up with no reasons. He looks so scared and he has no place to sleep for a night because he is new in our place searching his relatives' home. We keep him in our house, feed him up, offer him a bed to sleep and when tomorrow comes, we offer him breakfast before he left. After he left we asked our Dad why he let that man stayed in our house even though he is a total stranger and my dad simply answered, "if the world shows him the bad side of life then we must let him know that good side is still existing. We exist." That's why Filipinos are very generous and kind towards others.
