For those of you who don’t know track times, 75 seconds is a 5:00 mile pace. The fact that a guy could squat 405 8 times, run a five minute mile pace for 400, and then repeat that two more times is absolutely absurd to me. Mind, heart and lungs of the highest grade of Soviet unobtanium.

This is awesome as a hammer thrower the biggest lift is the front squat. The reason, why Litvinov was able to be 200 lbs or less, is that he is all legs. As a hammer thrower, it's counter-intuitive to have a big chest or arms as you want to maximize your radius your arms can be when fully stretched out, we are known for being T-rexes. The front squat is so big in the throw because if you look at the positions a hammer thrower is similar to that of a front squat because you are sitting back. The second most important lift is the snatch as it works on your finish at the end and helps with overall explosive power.

Hahahha! I can run(7:05min/mile and do 100m sprint in under 11secs right now at 38yrs old). Im not a bodybuilder(bench 255lb/set-squat 345lbs/set). I was a wrestler, then fighter in my 20s -early 30s. All you assholes find the OPs comment necessary but mine is "rude"? Whats the difference? Stereotypical of what? Just learn that word and wanted to use it? Elaborate please. Im here to watch and learn more from Juji as i have for a few years now. You're here to laugh at guys who are trying to entertain and teach you something. Now who's rude? Keep thinking im the bad guy. Its cool. I'll still be here to make the "rude" comments to all the self gratifying trolls.

@@jujimufu ANY time I can be of service, let me know. This was, and this is going to sound weird, lovely. As you know, John Powell told me about this and I use this with throwers, military, "collision occupations," American football and Rugby. Okay...time to joke: the progression is to go heavier.
