as someone who’s had chainsawman as their fav new gen since i read it, jjk was always very close and i think these recent chapters put it ahead for me personally. i still think chainsawman is the freshest take on shounen out rn and i love it to death, just god damn gege does not let up with hype factor/payoffs.

Honestly the first time i read JJK i was like you thinking it was a simple boring shonen that people liked because it has cliché element like an OP character or good fight... But i was damn wrong , when i re-read it i discovered the masterpiece that it was and form me its my second favorite shonen with hunter x hunter

JJK is the peak shonen manga for me. Everything is just perfect, from power system to no bullshit story that is very unpredictable and cruel as Gege is not afraid to kill his characters like a lot of mangaka do
