I feel like Gojo would have understood Rimuru taking revenge like he did. After all Gojo suggested to Geto that they should slaughter all the star religious group worshipers in that room. Only reason he didn't is because it wouldn't have accomplished anything. What Rimuru did had an express goal in mind. Also Maki's whole shtick is to slaughter the Zenin clan for how they treated her, so jujutsu sorcerers aren't exactly the pinnacle of morality and afaik none of them really see killing other people as entirely problematic as long as it isn't senseless.
