Just got mine and its mounted on a quilting frame. We just LOVE this machine. We would have appreciated more tutorials on how to thread, how to adjust tension, the route of the thread for the bobbin, and, how much thread to allow the bobbin to wind on. Otherwise great tutorial! This is a great machine. strong enough to be used in an industrial setting but small enough and affordable enough to be used at home.

Very nice machine. A good friend of mine is a master quilter and does ALL of his quilts by hand, and another friend uses a long arm sewing machine. I was curious about the long arm machine because I never seen one until very recently in pictures of the friends when he took pictures of his quilting room.

Is this a good type of machine for a beginners home use? I'm from QLD so won't be able to buy from you but am just interested to know the best type for me. This one looks great though!

I find it strange that only one question was answered here.
