Okay, so first off, this is a great video! Very helpful! But before I run off to buy supplies I wanted to ask: the first layer of tape is to block damage from T pins, the padding is to add size, and the second layer of tape is to secure the padding. My question is, how do I know how much padding to add based on my measurements? I apologize if you stated it, but I tend to need extra math help lol
@juleenforbes6 жыл бұрын
Everything you stated is correct. You’ll have to measure each time you add a layer to get your exact measurements.

Hello I love how your wig fits natural! So I measured at a 21.5, what canvas head do you suggest I get 21 or 22 to make my wig? Someone mentioned sewing the tracks on a cap will that affect the size of cap and the wig will be smaller which is why I’m leaning toward 22? What do you think?
@juleenforbes6 жыл бұрын
It all depends on the caps that you use, if there's a lot of stretch then you can get a size 21. Avoid sewing directly on the seams of the cap. If you get a size 22 and the unit is larger than your head you'll have to sew an elastic band inside.

Hi Juleen! What's the purpose of the padding? Is it to give the head styrofoam head extra size? or is it to push the pin in easier? Or maybe a different reason? Would love to know!

The padding is to make it bigger. You could use tape by itself but that would take all day
