So basically, they were both in a car accident, most likely due to a storm, and Annie’s the only one who woke up from it. She’s in a hospital, but she’s alive and not badly hurt, while Asher is still unconscious and in a comma. Annie is then feeling guilty and afraid that Asher won’t make it, but in order to stay positive, she begins remembering the moments they spent together and hoping for the best. What she doesn’t know is that Asher is also having these flashbacks, which are the reason he’s able to make it through and wake up again. Reminds me of the plot in “if I stay”.. it was beautiful made ! (This is just a guess though)
