Che bella performance ... Mi dà l'idea che sia proprio su pianoforte che Massenet abbia improvvisata questa Aria, straordinaria anche nella più conosciuta forma poi '"rubata" dai violinisti ... The way Sebastian plays this piece is a prayer in itself. I always turn on this rendition whenever I listen to John 14, 15, and Psalm 23. The music, masterfully played, complements the depth and intensity of God's word, and Psalm 23's great confidence in God is further expounded by the lingering pathos of this beautiful piano interpretation.

My wife learned this last summer to play at the funeral of a dear friend who had requested. It was exquisitely beautiful and our friend's son and the minister both stayed to hear the entire piece. She absolutely LOVES it!!!

We saw Andrew in concert this summer. He played the Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. It was a truly outstanding and moving performance. I highly recommend seeing Andrew in concert any chance you get. He is an incredible talent!

In any good score publishers, as Massenet wrote himself the piano version of his famous violin tube ( I bought it last November after hearing this pianist and as I'm working the piano, it pleased me, it's not that difficult, just forget the violin "hit" we have heard for decades.....

Je n'avais jamais entendu la méditation de Thais interprétée au piano . Je fus enthousiasmée par cette découverte. J'ai vainement essayé de la jouer en retrouvant un arrangement sur Sheet music mais cela ne rend pas du tout la même chose. Ni la partition , et encore moins la piètre interprète que je suis ne sont à la hauteur.
