Great video once again! 😊 Being in IT for over 20 years, I struggle to shake that sector from the "who am I" question. I discovered making some daily affirmations that I tell myself in the morning, helps me a lot. I am no longer an IT man ,I am a childrens picture book author and Illustrator" 🥰

I guess what makes me procrastinate is that so many KZbinrs who talk about KDP and similar sites say that the best way to make money out of children's books is to look at what's trending and in bookshops look at the best sellers. I don't really like a lot of the best sellers and the illustrations all look a bit samey these days (not yours). I don't want to have to change my style I suppose. I'm rather old fashioned in that I like Shirley Hughes, Judith Kerr, Quentin Blake etc. I'm not one for following trends in general. Love your videos as you are always so enthusiastic. ❤

I so agree about what is trendy now. It mostly is digital and not at all my style. I am old school and love how books used to be made. And Jules books are wonderful too. For example, I loved Dorrie the Little Witch by Patricia Coombs and Jan Brett. Have you started yet with your children's book?

I often think the same thing. "Why can't I publish a KDP book in 30 minutes?!" I just thought I wasn't getting it" This post makes me feel better
