I actually met her a few months ago in my school and she really inspired me and everyone else with her amazing story. ❤ Edit: she told us that being paralyzed is just like putting your hands on the ground, making it into a fist and sticking your fourth finger out. Then you try moving it by itself.

Such an amazing experience, which resulted with lots of things that she'd never imagined before. No matter she's Christian or not, just as we read in 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT) "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him." 😄

she is very lucky to have walked again-such accidents usually lead to death
@gleadhill794 жыл бұрын
If she wasn't so active before her accident, I wonder if she would have been able to walk now. If its because of her motor nerves, maybe she had built up the strength so much before?! She's come such a long way and had such a journey.

Jules! I just watched this now!!!! ❤️And what an Amazing Story!!! I cried when I heard she is an Artist. 😭😭😭Because I have turned to Art after not being able to find a job for soooo long. 6 years of rejections and getting slapped with obstacles and failures! Never giving up!!! Jules, I have to meet you and Em someday!!!! #goals #dreams

I tried to find the actual reason for this skydiving accident and seems it is mentioned nowhere? Was it an error of the instructor? Or a failure of the AAD?
@KatieTassell Жыл бұрын
It was the instructor, he didn’t have on the device that tells him when to open the parachute and he happened to open it late, at the same second the emergency one also deployed and they tangled so neither worked properly 😫
@videofrat3115 Жыл бұрын
"the device that tells him when to open the parachute" do you mean an altimeter?
@KatieTassell Жыл бұрын
@@videofrat3115 yes, I couldn’t remember the name of it 🤦🏻♀️ I don’t know anything about skydiving, was just repeating what I’d heard on a previous video.
@videofrat3115 Жыл бұрын
@@KatieTassell I don't think anyone would be allowed to jump out of an airplane without an altimeter. Much less a tandem instructor carrying another person. I doubt that would be the case.
