Just watching her now on TPTV in 1972 film 'All Coppers Are......' with Nicky Henson and Ian Hendry. Very good. Captures atmosphere of early 70s UK and for any Pink Floyd fans, there is the added bonus of seeing Battersea Power Station still working.

i'm watching it too 3 days later, (they repeat fimls) Julia was a dolly bird back then.

All coppers are is an enjoyable film but one thing it is great for now is looking back at London and seeing how much it has changed. To start with the bowling alley at the time would have been out in the country. A lot of things have gone but some things haven’t changed such as the steps leading down to the road Joe later runs down. One thing which is difficult to believe is Barry being born into poverty. He must have been the most well spoken criminal in Battersea.

There are talks that she will play the new doctor! I'm very curious how she'll do.

@@leomillett8553 Probably would, she's actually a big fan of the show, just like most other doctors. Might bring back a more Hartnell feel.

I could be wrong but I,m sure Julia foster runs across the road in one of the scenes as the Beatles play on the rooftop in Let it be any body else spot her ?

If you wish for an actress that fits the bill of Doctor, this is her. Not Jodie. Jodie is a great actress, but her style does not fit, so did not enjoy the show since she joined. But with Julia on board, this will be interesting.

Absolutely, her career defining performance in Orphan 55 makes her an obvious choice as the next doctor. She is just what the show needs to boost its sagging ratings.

A 77 years old woman playing The Doctor ? David Tennant coming back as a companion ? Have they been smoking funny mushrooms in the BBC entertainment department, or is it just a joke ????
@MCshadr2174 жыл бұрын
Yes, because having an older actor play as the doctor hasn't been done before. I mean, John Hurt wasn't 73 when he portrayed the Doctor of War or anything, and clearly didn't portray the doctor in a new way that fit with the role of "Doctor of war". No sirree. Give her a chance, because I bet she'll be brilliant.
@a.abdullah65594 жыл бұрын
@@MCshadr217 That's the thing though, If we give her a chance and she signs that contract, even if she's not good at playing the role they will still have to film with her for 2 YEARS. You can't exactly change who the doctor is mid series. that's why it's like taking a huge gamble
@jhibberd62903 жыл бұрын
@@a.abdullah6559What you say could apply to any actor though .I think she would play the Doctor better than a younger woman.
