You are obviously very young. It was a very very different time back in the 60s 70s and '80s. After that, music started getting shitty, and then the drugs started getting played around with and killing people and sex now is dangerous. Sex drugs and rock and roll back then was NOT gross. It's was what being young was all about. It was also a generational movement from oppression, so the young generation started being free and also free love, and of course amazing music! what I find gross is the music of today.

And he ran up to his room, my girlfriend disappeared, and he had a man watching me so he wouldn’t be seen taking a kid up to his room. The hotel staff was staring at me, especially when his friend got off the lobby phone and told me ST was ready. I wasn’t! As everyone stared, I got up with my portfolio and started to walk to the door. He came after me and I ran through the doors. The doorman grabbed a cab, threw me in it and yelled “ GOOO!!!”…. I was seconds from being grabbed again . I wanted to kill my ditzy girlfriend for leaving me alone with ST and his pimp- but yes, I was molested in public but luckily my first experience was not with him! I thought that too. She said all 3 locks on front door were locked and the bar jammed so hard she couldn’t open it. After saying she let Ray in and that’s that last thing she remembered. So, if the bar was jammed from inside, that means Ray didn’t go out the front door. He went out the back door. Which is why the fire was started in the back by the back door, so she couldn’t get out. They were together until like 1978. Ray Tabano was FIRED in 1979 for “conducting business behind managements back”. Because Steven told her he wanted a family and asked her to stop taking the pill (and threw them away), asked his grandmother for ring to give her and Dad refused to give his permission to a 24/25 yr old man to get married. I don’t think Steven knew or had anything to do with the fire. In fact, I think ( just IMO )the whole truth didn’t come out about the fire until he and Julia broke up. I think Steven found out about the details of the fire. Or had recollection of it (not to say he never heard the details, but if was told about the fire while trying to rush to hospital to Julia, he may not have processed them) and realized Ray must have started the fire. Then had him fired.

Wow.... what a story... you can see she is reliving this as she is telling it. Young, vulnerable and totally taken advantage in the worst way. Not even as adults do siblings have a say in their sister’s or brother’s life so much less as kids/teens. They said Boston in Massachusetts and that’s where the Kennedys and other people of their political beliefs made 16 the legal age for adults to have sex with kids. They made the law so they can have sex with teens, themselves, without having to go to prison.

Yes is is and it has been largely accepted from the beginnings of rock and roll to the present. I remember as a teenager reading the most grotesque description of what Robert Plant and one or two others in Led Zeppelin did to a teen-age groupie in one of their hotel rooms on the road. Very degrading and sexual assault. Just (rich, famous rocker) boys having a little fun. This story was part of a Rolling Stone article on Led Zeppelin and not an exposé or criticism of the "fun" that band got up to back in the day.

Her parents are responsible too, would they have allowed the guardianship had Steven not been famous? This woman had some self agency at 16 - she talks about knowing right from wrong and arguing in the car - she had fight in her, but she chose Steven over her baby, she didn't fight for it. It's a heavier cross for her to bear than it is for him, I'd imagine her guilt is tremendous. On the other side - what an horrific thing to do to a baby and to a woman. She lost her innocence, despite her part being consensual. The fire, the abortion and not taking care of her basic needs says a lot about this man. But why leave it 'till now, FIFTY years later? That is extremely odd; is she trying to absolve herself of blame for her own choices that she made? She was young, coerced but she still had a choice - she could have gone back to her folks (via the police) and kept her baby. Tough one to live with I guess, with hindsight!

I feel sorry for Julia, what happened to her, after 40 years, it is felt that she is still worried about that .... The only thing I can’t understand is what Julia was counting on, couldn’t she understand, from the very beginning, then that her trip with Steven is depriving her of her education, why didn't Julia and her parents think about it when they gave Julia their permission to go with Steven on his tour ...... After Steven made it clear that he does not want to marry this young girl, it finally dawned on Julia, she realized that she had no education and she had no one to rely on, except for herself ... ... I still can not understand how the minor daughter Julia, her parents could let go, entrusting the life of their daughter, a completely stranger to them .... Steven's decision to have an abortion on Julia is quite understandable, realizing that not only he was taking drugs at that time, but Julia herself, the only thing that had to be done, at an early date ..... I can understand Julia, her resentment towards Steven, but this is also the fault of her parents again, at that time, 16 year old Julia was still an unformed personality and what kind of life she lived all this time, being with Steven, and taking drugs together, completely without thinking about the consequences for which her parents and herself are responsible, but in no case, not Steven ... People who take drugs, on they should not be relied upon, knowing that drugs distort life and everything that happens in the life in which they live, especially in making some decisions ..... Did Julia herself never think about this ? Apparently not, Julia blames Steven, not understanding that she should not have left with a grown man from the very beginning, knowing that you always need to think and rely on yourself, knowing that at that time, Steven was taking drugs and he couldn't think properly...

Justice will be certainly served. He will be judged by a power greater than ourselves. In the meantime; thank you for telling your story and allowing your feelings to surface. You were too young to understand but HE was old enough to know what he was doing. God sees everything. I am so sorry for the pain and loss you went through. You got out of there alive; which is a blessing.

This just goes to show that narcissistic men make you promises in exchange for your submission and servitude- and they never will keep their end of the deal. Just like their father, Satan.

So it sounds like she has a great memory and Ray tried to kill her! Do they really kill babies that survive an abortion?! OMG!!! This story was wild.

Yes. In NY and I believe Massachusetts, laws were passed to murder innocent babies, beings, up to 9 months, even at birth. People need to wake up to the slaughter of the unborn that's been going on legally for some time now. I believe they cut then in the neck, crush skull, suck brains out in 3 Rd trimester abortion. Including at birth

Yes they do! People need to wake up and educate themselves on abortion proceeded. This vile act of murder is done TO BABIES . Search Lila Rose from live action . You’ll find the facts about abortion. There’s ZERO justification for abortion. Zero.

actually abortion had just been legalized and according to Julia herself ,she was one of the first women in America to get a legalized abortion.....she says she never saw the baby......what has she got you thinking......that Steven Tyler strangled her baby?.......it was the doctor that did the abortion y'know....not "Aerosmith" lol........how come Julia is talking about what she READ......in a BOOK.?........what's that got to do with "Aerosmith"....I don't get it, sorry........I suppose you think Tyler tried to have her "murdered".....in a fire....right?......Yeah......didnt she say she had been living in an apartment?.......you're telling me you actually believe that Steven Tyler tried to kill his girlfriend because she was pregnant......and just also took the risk of burning up and murdering Everyone Else in the BUILDING????.......are you this gullible every day or WHAT? LMAO

@Barbara Pacheco-NAUGLER I, for sure, didn't like him giving her an ultimatum, me, or the baby. As her legal guardian, leaving her alone without a car (and not teaching her how to drive) or money and not arranging for prenatel care while she is pregnant is just 200% wrong, selfish, and shows no love. Look, he wanted a baby with her, got her pregnant, then didn't take care of her. That's neglect (which is abusive). Then telling her, "It's the baby or its me," when he really didn't even intend on staying with her anyway. (He said in his biography). So it seems he lied to her and tried to manipulate her, and it worked.

@@deborahdeldebbioable yes ok.......all this stuff youre saying can be looked at in hindsight..... Julia just maybe wants one more time to face Steven.......even if it is thru lawyers......I don't think he''s mad at her........maybe he's been busy all these years......maybe he has a team of lawyers ......telling him all these years......don't communicate with her......and she's pissed.......and this lawsuit she launched 2 weeks ago is the only way to get his attention.....and maybe from there he throws her a bone So it gets settled out of court......I think Julia saw it as her last chance......since there was some legal window closing......for her to make a claim.....but as a hardcore Aerosmith fan........who admires Steven as a super talent for many years......I hate to see people try and put him down......the comments on here are plain ridiculous.......you mention that Ivanka trump got an abortion herself and there are people erasing your comments because they do not want THAT talked about. well too bad.....I will talk about it.....and the hypocrisy like Steven Tyler is the only guy who ever talked his girlfriend into having an abortion.... sorry.....that just doesnt cut it on my list of people who need to have to Burn In Hell..... Julia was one of the first women in America to have a legalized abortion...almost 50 years ago.....it did not go well apparently......but stop blaming Tyler for it.......he could only watch!

@@barbarapacheco-naugler262 Stop making excuses for Tyler for the hell he put Julia through when she was a teen age girl Get real. Obviously Steven Tyler is not the only person who has talked his girlfriend into getting an abortion. Years later apparently this Tyler rocker writes a book outing himself in some way showing his true colors in writing. Maybe this Tyler is no longer the monster he was once was??? God knows the truth so no one is fooling Him ever. God bless Julia may He continue to bring healing and comfort to her life. Her pain her voice matters always.

That's not the First or last Rock Star to do this. Or is she the youngest by far. And many girls were groupies at 13 and 14. Crazy but none of these rockers or from other types of music are ever held accountable for being with these girls and screwing them over. And there's always more groupies lined up waiting for that super star to notice them.

Well they say never meet your idols/heroes and this is why and yeah the apartment fire sounds fishy AH. I read about this story years ago it's not like it's brand new, but after 40 years? Even so she could've done this a few years ago when the #MeToo movement went down and women started prosecuting offenders. Believe in all the good things that money just can't buy, and you won't get no belly ache from eating humble pie. 💯
