Met quite a few rock stars, but Steven Tyler is the nicest and most decent of all of them. July 1990, he stayed at The Pompano Beach Hotel in Bermuda with them wife Theresa and children Mia and baby Chelsey. I was a fan after an autograph (Pump cd) and respected his privacy as he was with his family. He saw the CD I was holding, beckoned me over and asked me to join his table and proceeded to introduce his family to me! I only stayed a few minutes as it was his family time, but he tipped me off Aerosmith were doing a unannounced show a few weeks later at The Marquee in London as a warm up to their Donington show and that Jimmy Page was appearing, and told me to tell my friends to get advanced tickets. I have the photos to prove I'm not bullshitting. Incredibly brilliant guy, and a REAL family man!

I’ve been infatuated with Steven since the first time I heard him sing (and saw his picture). When I was old enough to go to an Aerosmith show I was probably 14ish. And that was it, I was seriously mesmerized. We were sitting in the second row, so I had a really good seat and he paid a little attention to me, and I was over the moon. One thing led to another and that was it, all I wanted was to be around HIM. I can’t explain it, and the rest is private, it’s mine. But I can tell you this, he is the sweetest most considerate person. In my life I have been blessed with great loves and wonderful people that come in and out of my life. And this beautiful man is one of them. He’s so talented and strange, just like most of us are in someway, but he’s one of the best of them. I adore him, always will. 🤍🤍🤍

He is the realest and most down to earth person - that it is basically the exact opposite of any/every celebrity now a days!!! Celebrities are mostly fake, like a Barbie doll - plastic and very secretive about everything that they do and have done in their past!!! this is even more of a reason that Steven Tyler is not atypical celebrity because he is completely upfront open and honest about his drug addiction and how it has affected not only him - but Aerosmith as a group and his biological family!!! she is a very generous, caring, and giving person - who doesn't just write a check to contribute to society and especially pertaining to the disease of addiction and how it has affected his entire life!!! He is very accountable for his unconditional support and love towards people who can't love themselves!!! I can't wait to receive the book that he wrote - that I ordered not too long ago!!!

eqsmooth The best album is Rocks, any Aerosmith fan would agree with you hands down. But it´s not the only one that´s crazy good: Get your Wings was great already, then there´s Toys of course, and Draw the Line one of my favorites. Pump is just awesome to me, and also Nine Lives. Honkin´on Bobo is just crazy good bluuuuues Aerosmith style, and not commercial at all so there you go. The late 80´s and early 90´s were commercial for all hard rock bands, that´s why I´m not mentioning Get a Grip or Permanent Vacation.
@utube90009 жыл бұрын
Paola Machín I agree, the best album is ROCKS, followed by Toys and Get Your Wings. Of course there are many other great albums, songs and moments throughout their career.

eqsmooth Who are you, the morality police? Were talking about rock n' roll here and you're whining like a woman who watches soap operas. I don't give a shit about their personal lifestyle, rock stars are NOT to be considered role models or exemplars of high morals and clean living. As far as "being professional" goes, Aerosmith has sold over 150 million albums world wide and has sold out arenas all over the world every single year for 45 years (with the exception of ONE year, 2008.) I'd say that's pretty fucking professional.

Bought the first LP when it came out before they changed the cover. Saw them the first time when KISS was there warmup band. Maybe 73/74.

The best line on dream on for me is, “you got to lose to know how to win”. Failure is just a phase not the end of one’s chapter.

Staying clean when you have millions of dollars... I can't imagine it myself as a 12 year opiate/heroin addict in recovery in the middle of another methadone taper. 8 months now since my last bag and I still have vivid dreams almost every night of shooting up. I would be doomed if I could have a sack of dilaudid delivered to my house with a phone call.

Leave it to Steven Tyler to remind me of the great pants I've had and great pants I've lost. Totally bonus that he somehow still manages to pull one of those missing pieces out of his back pocket and helps me put my life puzzle together without even knowing it. ❤️

@@CarlosSantanaa12 You know Steven, I've been trying to hide out, keep it under my hat. Still, your lyrics and the genuity w/ which you deliver them has always inspired me. My heart is a little saddened, b/c the "Armageddon" mash-up w/ "Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" has just been ringing in my ears lately. Maybe it is b/c of hearing about Bruce Willis' sunsetting (one of my fave action heroes); and, despite the parting of him and Demi, her coming back to him to support such tough years just hits me right in my heart piece. I spent a few years tending to people w/ degenerative and developmental diseases. It is tough; and, it is difficult to separate oneself from the alternate "realities" that emerge in their conceptual frameworks of existence as a result . Now, I am coming back around to what it means to make my own music. I have had such great examples [and I hope you are recognizing yourself in that statement]. Something funny that I didn't realize until after I took my leap to the Northeast was just how many musicians that meant so much to me hailed from the region. It has been uplifting to contemplate that unforeseen "serendipity." On a positive note, I had my fire fueled a little today in just a passing meeting w/ a cashier kinda feeling the same, looking for others playing in the sound-style that feels home. He kinda reminded me of your story and meeting Joe Perry over dropping fries. LOL! Anything can happen in this world. We don't have to "manifest" it. We just have to be one-hundred-thousand percent who we are and genuine "social gravity" will do the rest. Thank you for checking in on me. I hope all is well w/ you despite recent struggles. 💖

Steven Tyler is a great dad, grandfather and musician. He has had his issues as do all of us. He's very approachable. Very respectful especially to fans who pay him respect. From simple saying to him Mr. Tyler instead of Stevy whaz up. He talks to you like he's know you for a long time. I know first hand what a simple Mr Tyler and a handshake can do . Thanks Steven Tyler
