Oh my God this is truly incredible. The vocal layering is so intricate and beautiful, and the crescendo is akin to religious ecstasy. I cannot see another song topping this this year.

This is one of the best songs I've ever heard, I absolutely love this. It's so atmospheric, creative and fantastical. It makes me feel happy, genuinely happy. A song has legit never made me felt this way, and I've heard all types of music. This is what I've been looking for all along, what an absolute beauty.

One of THE greatest endings to a song I've heard. A stunning crescendo of transcendental brilliance. How a song ends is such an underrated component - needless to say its subtle beginnings will mean most peoples goldfish attentions are diverted long before that point.

I found Julia while looking for something new to listen to on my iPad. Apple music recommended Have you in my wilderness and having never heard about her or the album I took a chance. It quickly became one of my most favorite albums ever and introduced me to an artist I have since fallen musically in love with. I couldn't be more excited for a new Julia Holter album. Praise the gods she keeps making music on this kind of level.

Yeah, far more creative and original. Have You in My Wilderness is still great, but it's a bit too contemporary and generic for me to be able to call it her best. I liked each Holter album less than the last and Aviary looks to break the streak.
