@Raging Red he explained it to you and u literaly said "nah", it's just seems that you make a quick judgment.
@meumundosecreto76945 жыл бұрын
@Raging Red this is probably like the informal meaning of bitch, which can be a insult, because it basicly means bad persons. In this case, we are probably using one of the informal meanings, that got "lighter", because some, not all, use it to call/talk to their friends. An example " Hi, bitch, how are you ? ", " I'm fine, bitch ". So, basicly people turn the word bitch to friend. Does that make sense?? I could explain it differently.
@meumundosecreto76945 жыл бұрын
@Raging Red for what I know, she has(had?) some issues with feminism and has internilize misogyny. But we should remember that she got depressed and said she wanted to kill herself and everybody was critizing her for it; instead of helping her. Because is that what you should do, when you see someone who needs help, you help. You don't bitch her. Anyways, thankfully she didn't do it, because we know what it would happen, people would again glamorize suicide. About her lyrics, you can take any meaning from it. It can be a way to know that you're in trouble, identify what kind of sadness or whatever, I'm a new fan of her, so I may just be saying non sense. Besides, why would an action, personality, choices of a artist really chance that much your point of the music. There's like her meaning and your meaning and thousands of interpretations for you to just pick what pleases you.

In one of the earliest interviews in her career, Lana made it clear that she wasn’t interested in making music that was “just pop.” All these years later, as she’s now the industry’s most intriguing poet, Lana Del Rey creates genre-defying songs that can teach all of us something about vulnerability, human nature and society at-large.

And in a way, we all do that, we all fall for it, long for it but deep inside we know our dreams are already gone, because what we crave has never existed and never will. One thing I love about Lana is that she's not afraid to use current tech while conveying a nostalgic atmosphere. Like the clips where she's shining a phone light on her. If she wanted a "timeless" feeling she could've used any type of lighting instead of a phone that could give a very time-specific feeling to the video. But she's not afraid to ground herself in the time she's in, almost like she's turning her present into nostalgia for her future self to look back to. Idk if that makes any sense lol

This woman has a true gift. Something very few artists have. The ability to immerse the listener/viewer into her world and into her head without trying. She simply just does what she feels. The fact that her label and management let her put out a non pop 10 minute single shows that they truly believe in her as an artist and believe in self expression and that's so rare in the industry of labels treating artists as money making machines. She and Jack are putting out the record of a lifetime.
@stormtroopa35446 жыл бұрын
tjohnnie01 couldn’t agree more. She’s taking us to a place of imaginary freedom with her artistry every time. Makes us feel free for these few minutes. It just adds to this that her label lets her do whatever she wants. I think this day and age, this is what we need as music. It makes us quit from the real world for a few minutes.

I listened to this song when my mum was dying of cancer. The song made me feel sad but at the same time it allowed me to unwind from all the tragedy I was living. I was listening to this song obsessively, crying because I couldn't cope with the idea of not seeing my mother anymore. Now that she's gone, this song brings back to me all the sadness and melancholy that one can bear... But on the other hand, the song gives me comfort, it reminds me that I did everything I could for my mum, I was there looking after her til her last sigh. I miss you so much dear Mummy.....
