I am so thankful for the message of this movie - all of it. Julia, I cried all through your part- I was very touched because you played it so well, it refected pretty much the 35 years of my marriage. It verified how I had felt for many years, going down mentally, and I thank you. Love you and pray for you. So proud of you here (Julia). From Lynn, living in Woodstock, Ga, Julia (send your kids to Bama 🐘🐘 if they arent too old) Thank you again for this movie, teaching us to QUICKLY recognize being manipulated and Gaslit. This is the most very important thing as we want to help other people who have lived these types of abuses, regain some of the dignity they've lost. I truly believe God can heal the profuse trauma caused, but we have to get away if we can. I am going through this myself, now, but this movie gave me so much strength. I am amazed. Tell get I am going to keep on trying hard. If this could get to Julia, I'd appreciate it. Sorry if too much information, I just really want her to know. We share the same bday w/ Bill too. Great movie yall. Let's make more American history movies! (Not sure if we are still offering that course in our schools!)

Tish , I was 14 when Watergate first happened . I remembered during the hearings I would tell my two friends in thier swimming pool I'm going to go in and make a cup of tea , I'll be back in a little bit . I'd end up drinking the tea while watchimg the Watergate hearings . It got to the point they didn't want to let me out of the pool because they knew once I went in I wasn't going to come back out til the hearings were over . I remember Margaret Mitchell and what a character she was . A lot of days I wish we could go back to the 70s before things got crazier and crazier with each decade .

The show's just marvelous. And what interesting about Julia's body of work is that she seemingly chooses the roles that could be not that far from her own personality (that wit, that charm and poise) but it's always different, it's always showcases the new edge of her talent. With this particular one i must say she reached the new high of her talent. She gave Martha so much depth and made her even more sympathetic i guess. This show is a true master class of acting...as well as storytelling. Olympic level i would say

It wasn't that long ago that Sean Penn had said publicly that he had grown tired of the Hollywood scene and making movies. That he'd done everything there is and had nothing left. It's been 50 years since a lot of things that we still do know and remember about duh lol... and specially with the internet now. The answer to that question is that establishment has tried to erase Martha Mitchel from History ever since, that's why we didn't know. Glad the story is being told.
