The key to her success last season was the massive importance on her improved shooting, I think she stated it had been a 2 year process to get there. She had always been one of the fastest on tour but with doing well in the range it must have increased her motivation in pushing it towards wins and podium places.

I love biathlon; coming from a target shooting background (50m prone, 10m Air, full bore etc...); Simon's success for me is almost exclusively to her improvements made on the shooting range. Last year she was the best prone shooter of the entire World Cup, male or female. And it wasn't even close. Her shooting process and application of it was nigh flawless. Her ability to do the same thing every single time, at the same speed no matter the pressure is something no other WC overall globe pretender can accomplish rn. Not even Joe Boe. Her standing shooting is a bit more ropey in comparison but still impeccable for a biathlete. She is the proof that quality shooting, (not fast shooting *cough Jacquelin cough*) is the kingmaking tool that makes one not a fast biathlete but a globe winning machine. As long as she carries on like this she will collect many more crystal globes.

The credit card allegations were already there last season, the only difference is that the public knows now.. I don't know what will happen but she already expressed mental fatigue 😞 (Justine and Julia are my two favourite biathletes 😢)

I agree and disagree, because now it's out, maybe her market value can sink like a stone.

This first weekend showed a little bit of inconsistency on her part. She was outstanding in the relay, and melted in the individual. As you pointed out, she is superb in head-to-head races. As we start racing pursuits and mass starts, I think we will see her rise to near the top again.

Maybe she can manage with 'freezed out' and bad vibes , rumors have it that there ars bad vibes between Lisa Vittozzi and Doro and they did well in the past.

@@BrianHalligan-USA We'll probably not find out about the issues between Lisa and Dorothea. DW was asked if she was going to write an autobiography recently and she said no as it would cause issues with other people and it would not be "positive". I guess that person is LV.

Tough to speculate on stuff like that as it has stayed internal. But one thing is for certain: JBB filed an allegation against JS. facts are facts.

Lisa had her worst year ever after Doro's globe victory.. When she herself could've won it if the staff didn't put Dorothea well being before Lisa's (I love them both)
