Just think about music, food, old stories, sense of humor, type of humor, holidays, beliefs, traditions, etc in your family and area you live. White people can have many cultures.

Read this. European Ethnic americans do have culture. When it comes to the belief that "whites have no culture," That's a sham. One has to deeply dig into the roots of ethnicites and to see it as people saw it around the turn of the century in the United States where this white vs black really started. Virtually everyone who was not the British English ethnicity was not considered white. Throughout the early 20th Century though and stemming from the end of the 19th, virtually close to all immigrants took part in this massive manhunt for anyone who did not show these characteristics of a "white" or "true-American." One thing for example is the speaking of anything other than English. Language alone is one of the cornerstones of culture. There are numerous details of French-American harassment experienced by the KKK. There are accounts of German-Americans being harassed by English-American nativists. One of the reasons why most of America doesn't speak their family's original language anymore is because language laws, in an attempt to take back the hegemonic influence, laws were put into place which undermined anyone who was not an English speaker. It's already a well known thought that when you move to a city, you lose your ethnic traditions and become a face in the crowd. If you go to the mountains in Appalachia alone, you come across English and in some cases Irish- American ethnics who carry on ballad singing with variations of songs which were brought from the Aisles. Here's a simple profile for the Irish-American Ethnic - Roman Catholic - Family passes down stories of Ireland or the voyage - Loud and rambunctious - Family oriented - Information on Clan connections are passed down, a tradition and reason of thought which has since taken a back seat by the general modern Irish society. - Pre-20th Century, an estimated 1/3 of Irish immigrants only spoke the Irish language and couldn't speak english - Fiddle music - Words and phrases which use english words but are also smattered with Irish words and grammar which was deemed appropriate at the time of familial departure from the Isles There are many others, but I'm trying to get you to read. Simple Profile for modern German-American families - Catholic or Protestant - Stories of 20th Century harassment and knowledge of what previous family members went through are shared - Cooking cookies around the holidays are a must - a respect and preference for order - unspoken yet strong loyalty to country - pre-early 20th Century, a strong tie to Germany despite having been 2nd or 3rd Generation - a little over 2 million still speak their respective family's regional dialect from Germany, remember previous family members who could speak the language, may have words or phrases which they still use with their children - going through the back or side door over the front door - taking pride in honest hard work - taking pride in belongings and managing those belongings so they last for a long time ie. German-American farmer would be more likely to well oil his tractors while the Irish-American would potentially be more likely to just leave it outside in the field ("One of those Intangibles", Coggeshall) - Pre-English-American nativism, over 540 German language newspapers were in print -Pre-English-American nativism, there is a tradition still practiced in Germany, where children go from house to house with a sign above the door marking out the houses where they were to go to in reverence to the Magi around Christmas, dressed up in costume, singing songs and collecting small candy rewards or offerings for the church. - the use of the Christmas tree - the placing of a statuette of the baby Jesus on the Tree - hacking down a Christmas tree the day before Christmas - Celebrating Christmas on the traditional German day of Christmas - Treating their grandparents with great respect - typically German-Americans make just above average the general income - Stille Nacht (Silent Night/Still Night") is sung around Christmas time - Gymnasiums are a German-American creation as around the time of one of the Great Migrations, keeping oneself in good physical shape was popular - German-Americans popularized going out on Sundays with families over the British English ("Anglo-saxon")-American protestant way of doing nothing on Sunday and spending in with family, one of the pinnacle things which began to spark the British English - American ethnic nativism in order to gain control again. I could go on and on from French-American and the La Giginolle (i butchered that), or I could talk about the British English cultural practice of Clogging, a style of dancing reminiscent of tap shoe dancing which is still practiced in the countryside of Great Britain. All of these aside from the British English-American ethnic group are the victims of the "white" washing everyone. "White culture" thus encompasses all of these listed above and hasn't explored half of the ethnic groups which were thrown under the bus during the reign of the KKK. During WW1 and WW2, anything for example that hadn't sunk in and had become just traditional "American" was forced to leave by families in order to protect their own children, our great or merely our grandparents. This is the unfortunate truth. As time moves on and as things become more polarized into this vestige of democratic inspired KKK thought of "white" vs "black" (I repeat, 4 of the 5 ethnic groups above today thrown under the label of "white" are/were not considered "white" by those of the time. Back then, things were more focused on ethnic group and economic standing over "black" and "white" politics.

em ! Luckily aside from being in a German-American household affected by those years, I was also an anthropology student with a focus on ethnology. The stories of how our families were terrorized into “becoming white” are often not usually passed down in detail, but often are not unheard of to younger generations such as myself. But if you have access, one of my favorite places to do research is JSTOR but sometimes information can be hard to find. The GA experience is one of those lesser written on in part from the social stigma around the group. Book burning of German related things in the US wasn’t unheard of either despite historical ties to long-set language use to the point of there having been a few civil war legions led in the standard German language.

White Americans definitely display unique aspects of a White subculture, and it's especially noticeable as one explores many other cultures and countries. In general, Americans also share a uniquely / obviously American culture - quite extroverted compared to most of the world for sure. Our service is honestly some of the best in the world after traveling to many other countries. There's a lot of differences but our workers are often the most conversational - you don't just get the meal but you also get to meet someone. There are unique racial aspects of subcultures but the more one travels, the more you see America is mostly a very American culture.

As a white American I believe that "White Culture" is pretty vague, and bleak. "White Culture" doesnt exist in the way you think it does. Let me explain, White Culture varies from region, to region. The Culture in the East Coast is not the same as the culture say, in The South. So, Folks from Maine, or vermont dont share the same culture as folks from Alabama, or Arkansas. Same goes for the Midwest(where Im from), and the West Coast. I, being feom Missouri, do NOT share the same culture as someone from Califonria or Oregon. You see? "White culture" has specific European influance in it. In Midwest again whre Im from, our culture has heavy Irish, and Scandanavian, along with a bit of French influence. Thats why Farming, Family, Quilting, Midwest style Salads, Church potlucks, community, Long drives around town, Christmas folklore, genaral ancestral folklore(particularly Howloween) ect. ect. Your not gonna find a lot of that in California buddy! So anyways, thats just my opinion on "White culture" in America lol. And just one more thing, America used to have more culture with White people. But, The Government ripped that from us. My last name is McCue. I know it's Irish, but I have no Idea what that means. My culture, and language as a decendent from Irish people was ripped straight outta my hands. Now, I distill my self with Midwest Culture. What Ive found is, all of us people from the midwest blent our cultures together because we didnt have ourselvs anymore. Huh, wierd.

Sure exactly like black culture. There are a bunch of countries in Africa and all have different cultures, even within each country. Or they could be from a Caribbean island country. Look at the massive culture differences between South America and Haiti. The huge culture difference within Syria or Afghanistan. It’s like the basic white culture difference between America, Canada, or Europe. Obviously within each of these countries there are many white cultures. I grew up in South Dakota then lived in Japan then Oklahoma. My ancestors came from France and England. Imagine all my cultures. Many countries have more than one culture, especially one as diverse as America. But we all share basic American cultures of football, cookouts, Independence Day, traditional home cooking, fast food, parades, the American flag, small town festivals, movies, birthday celebrations with cake, graduations and many others that most share. What American doesn’t love a good parade? Most countries dont get it. ❤️🤟🏻

In the US, there is no "white culture." There is Asian culture, Caribbean culture, Italian culture, Greek culture, ...there is rural culture and suburban culture. There is wealthy culture and there is not wealthy culture. The list goes on and on. Culture is about traditions, language, customs, values, cuisine, etc. It is not about skin color. Claiming that skin color is a cultural element is demonstrating ignorance. If there were "white culture" in the US, then there would be legally sanctioned events, organizations, and such that are open only to whites or openly celebrate whiteness without reprisal. There are not. These participants must be college students: they're predictably and reliably parroting Leftist, so-called Progressive concepts.
