I think it's because she's weird in a way that seems very put together and professional. If any of the others tried to play the straight guy, they'd die from being unable to stop themselves from making inappropriate jokes, meanwhile Julia has a talent for subtlety, allowing her to still make those jokes so her head won't explode but deliver them like sumn ordinary.
