Fully trained ex nail tech. One little note about the UV... lamps use less UV than your ski gets exposed to in the air throughout the day... so it's probably more important to wear sunscreen throughout the day rather than specifically for doing your nails. Another little tip is to remove the gems and any 3d art using an old cuticle nipper.. it will help your drill bits last longer and is safer too! Hope they are helpful tips! Lovely set of nails!

Hi! I'm also a DYI-er who is starting nail school next month! Your talent and skill are amazing and you have a great eye for design! Super skillful and beautiful! Since you mentioned you were concerned about gel exposure and safety from allergies, I wanted to suggest one thing! I've heard from some professionals in the field that airbrushes are amazing tools, but we should not use alcohol or acetone diluted gels in them. They said that even though the color is blasted in 1 direction, the vapors with uncured gel will fill your room very quickly and easily, which could cause some problems! I bought an affordable kit of air brush acrylic paints and I mix the colors prior to putting them in the airbrush. I was also told that even with the acrylic paints you should still wear an air safe mask and open windows/vent your space before doing airbrushing. I hope you keep doing what you're doing and hope this helps you in the future! Thank you!

I think your nails turned out so beautiful. If I were u, I would definitely take pics of every set u do. It will give u a portfolio & u will also be able to look back on the photos and see how far you’ve come as an artist. I taught myself how to do floral arrangements bc I was like you. I’m extremely picky about the flowers I like, the freshness, the style etc… Also, professional floral arrangements can also get extremely expensive too. I look back at my first arrangements that I did & thought were so amazing & now I’m like, “What in the world?!” Honestly & truly, your nails r amazing & u r very talented. 6:13 don’t know if u seen but u start in the middle of the nail and go one way then switch the drill to opposite either f or r from what u had and go the other way hope this helps
