I use the merit minimalist stick over the smashbox primerizer and it blends like butter, even over dry spots.

I love the merit foundation stick, you definitely need a hydrated base, similar to the patrick ta level moisture- and then it's literally a dream product and wears super long and evenly.

@@sandraguardado5718 I usually use my clinique gel moisturizer (the yellow one) and then sunscreen over top, then a primer spray, usually NYX bare with me and let it dry. The foundation can be a little bit finnicky with dry skin but not bad at all, I use thin sheer layers just to cover up spots and even out my skin. But I even use it under my eyes and it's fine. This is definitely, like she sad, NOT for girls that like full a beat foundation.

I love the merit mascara! It gives me the same lengthened fluttery look as my other favorite, pat McGrath fetisheyes mascara. Except the merit one is tubing so it lasts all day even with my greasy eyelids. It's my daily mascara that I carry with me everywhere ❤️

Julia I highly recommend sleeping with a humidifier in your room during the dry fall and winter months, it really helps keep the skin from over drying while you sleep especially considering we use dry heat to keep warm

I am someone who has way too much makeup. However, to me my Merit lipstick stands out as special in my collection. Millennial is my signature shade, I bought it and took it with me whenever I went out and somehow, I lost it. I just couldn't stop thinking of it, so I ordered another one. Just recently it was my birthday, and my husband was cleaning out the trunk of our car and he found it! He also found my Scorpio gold charm that had come off my necklace when I was taking off my sweater. It was in our driveway! Best birthday ever to get back two of my treasures!

I'm not a big fan of Merit, I find most of their products to be very meh, but I will say.. their highlighter is SO good! It's my favourite highlighter and is just so glossy, but without being a balm because I hate those. I like how it's shimmery, but not glittery and so wet looking.

The Merit mascara is one of the only tubing formulas that has a natural bristle brush… hard to find! And, their brow gel is my one and only.💜

The first few times I used the complexion stick I thought it looked terrible. I have to make sure I put it on right after skin care. I also originally think I just used too much product. No I actually like it and use it pretty frequently. I really did hate it at first. I’m actually glad I wasn’t the only one. 😆

You should try out the Revlon super lustrous glass shine lipsticks! Its one of the best lip products I've ever tried. I personally LOVE the colors rum raisin (wonderful color for fall) and nude illuminator (great everyday color).

Hey for those dry skin patches try the cica cream from la rosche Posay - it’s really gentle and healing but also antibacterial which is often the reason those patches stick around

Hope this helps: exfoliation (esp. over-exfoliation) can exasperate dry flakes. Using a good moisturizer, esp. at night can help. Oil free will help if skin is oily.
