Reality of solo van life... (I called 911)

in today’s solo van life vlog I wanted to show you what a normal day of living in a van is REALLY like... the not-so-glorious side of it, and well, that is DEFINITELY what this was! Even though there are some cons, I wouldn't trade this life for anything. I hope you enjoy (:

The drain should be put together with plumbers petty under that drain so that it shouldn't lake silicone. Is the wrong application so when you get home you might want to change that

Love the name Sand Dollar for your van. I am definitely not a fan of bugs but please be careful with the Raid. You don't want to be inhaling that, especially in such a confined space.

I was on a British train and needed the loo. Unknown to me the lock to the loo door was on the opposite wall. As I was standing and actually performing the whole sliding door began opening eventually revealing me to the whole carriage of passengers. Apparently this is so common an event the passengers were just waiting for the inevitable reveal. It is not your fault. ROD UK

Few things: 1) Bathroom button: I would totally do the same thing and now you have saved me from locking myself out if I'm ever in that kind, thank you! 2) The hairwashing?! Seems so obvious, but I never would have thought of it, I'll be copying for sure. That's also how I washed up on my last trip, but I wasted water and time double rinsing. 🙃 3) Love your van name, so fitting! Congrats on finding the name!💚

As a truck driver I've been in MANY public washrooms all over USA and Canada, I never ever came across that weird door/lock mechanism. Also, because I know, I would not try to wash my hair in the van-sink but go to a truck stop and take a shower there. It's about $8 to $12, towels included. You can easily find them on line; Flying J, Pilot, Loves, Petro, to name a few big chains. Don't be scared of them, it's perfectly fine and convenient. And because I always have to use public washrooms..... PLEASE LIFT THE SEAT when dumping your van-toilet in a public toilet. Thx.

Regarding the broken ground wire, instead of soldering connections it is better to use crimping because soldered connections can fail. You can get all kinds of connectors which you crimp onto wires and cables.

i really hate bugs i would take my cat and go somewhere for 4 hours while doing a 'bug bomb' thing they sell in the states. No animals or humans can be in the area being bug bombed for 4 hours I believe the can said. Cant get them here in Canada. :(
