Young women (Gen Z) are just now stepping out and becoming more independent in as much as building, etc. I'm 64 and had ABSOLUTELY NO OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN TRADES, even my own brother and father didn't think women "belonged" in them. After 2 divorces and working at 2 of the largest companies in the area and getting screwed...I went out and learned every dam thing I could. I can dig septic lines, lay water lines, install a water tank and pump under my house. I can dig footers, lay foundations if I choose but I dislike doing brick and block. I'm a stone Mason and tile installer (30 years) one of the best in my area. I can frame houses, roof a house, do some finish carpentry, hang wall paper, paint, build an entire tile or stone shower including building my own mud floor pan and drain all the way up (which many "men" can't) since I've only seen 2 other "Real" tile ladies in my area and like many men, they didn't know how to build out a shower either. Yeah...I can do a lot and I STILL CAN'T DO THE ELECTRICAL THIS BRILLIANT YOUNG LADY DID. Myself and the original commenter are from an entirely different generation so we are entitled to speak with others as our knowledge and opportunities were acquired along with a steel spine that comes from hearing "you're a girl, you can't do that". Me... I'll show you 😏 just watch. Listening isn't just hearing, it's understanding where someone else is speaking from. Be kind.

I think if it were me I would have swapped the wardrobe for a shower and loo room and used the underbed for storage for clothes and books but the general aesthetic of your van was beautiful.

I love this build and you've done a great job. I do want to say that foreign stool introduced into the environment in high concentrations can actually throw off the pH balance of the soil and attached bodies of water-- a huge contributor to blue/green algae blooms and spikes in lakes are increased nitrates in the surrounding soil from heavy dog paths.

I lived in a RV for 2years I a top for the oven. Get a pizza stone and put on the bottom rack and then a pizza baking pan upside on top it. This will help a great deal with spotty burning situation if you have that problem. I found the pizza stone online the stone we found had to be chipped a bit to fit. That alone helped but adding the air gap of the upside down pizza pan too really made it like a normal oven.

Monongahela Nat'l Forest is amazing, New River Gorge/Bridge, Beauty Mtn, several caverns, the 'water fall trail', Summersville Lake, Seneca Rocks...if you are into climbing, hiking or white water Nicholas and Fayette Counties have lots of both. Fayetteville is a great town to explore as well, bohemian with an interesting history and the center for so many outdoor adventures.
