I know sometimes it's easier to just trash everything but you can give furniture a second (or third or fourth) life also pretty easily by just listing it for free on FB or craigslist, or sometimes just leaving it at the curb!! Esp high quality, real wood pieces, so many people would love to get those for free to use or makeover

A tip for anyone who is also thinking about painting their room: when you buy a paint roller frame, buy an extension pole that you can attach to it. It saves so much time compared to painting with only a short paint roller. Paint along the trim with a brush like Julia did and then move on with the paint roller. Using the roller with an extension pole attachment will cover so much surface area in a couple of swipes!

Omg! I’m a hoarder! I grew up in a family of hoarders… same thing as you… sentimentals & might needs times 1000 because both my parents were immigrants who had nothing and came from difficult times & poverty. So, we needed to hang on to everything in case we or a friend or relative needed something one day. That, plus all the emotional shit that causes more hoarding!!! Guess what??? I became a hoarder too! I have teens who hate that we have a cluttered house but my emotional shit weighs me down & it’s all so overwhelming. I need someone like you to come over & just throw out all the shit we haven’t needed in 20 years! Help!!! Thanks for this inspirational video! I know it’s hard to expose the truth to the world but thank you & your family for being so brave! I like to call it throwing the shit out. LOL Walk dresser and Tip dresser on its end, lower top side in trailer, get behind side still on side walk and lift and slide in, much easier ;) Those light switch cover plates come off for painting. You young kids have so much energy! X) Of course Ikea! I like their stuff too. Its a good idea to flip your matress and vacuume it if you say you havent used in a while. You may want to put saucers or matts under the real plants, they tend to hold moisture and mold your tables. All cute, nice work! :)

I love how much work you did on your room, it’s inspiring, I could never lol!!
