Hello, I recommend you get the SwitchEasy CoverBuddy Protective Cover 12.9", Compatible with Smart Keyboard Folio, Supports Apple Pencil Wireless Charging from amazon. You are then able to remove your iPad from the case and still have protection on it. The only thing is I’m unsure if it fits with the new wireless case. I assume so as it’s compatibility with the wireless dots and had a pen holder. Good luck!

This is how I feel about the magic keyboard...if you have a computer already, you don’t really need the magic keyboard, but if you don’t have a computer then that’s the best thing to use personally

I had the plain folio case from Apple before I bought the keyboard so if I’m gonna use it as tablet for a longer period I just snap that case on because the magnetic connection makes it pretty easy. I also bought a skin for the back of my iPad to see if that helps with protection against scratches when I move it between cases. Obviously not idea situation but I am very excited for when school is in person again as I am just the kind of person who really disliked the feel of the keyboard folio and I think I’ll really enjoy it then. Thanks for making the review from the perspective of a student!

I was doing research on which i should get cause i was stuck between and i made a pros and cons for both but this was the tie breaker and im going with the smart folio becuase i want to use it to draw on and do notes but i think ill be fine using the apple pencil to swipe or click on.

I personally don’t like how the magic keyboard looks and I don’t want it to replace my iMac so I got the smart folio

I have the magic keyoard and it looks great and is awesome, but I just wish it could fullt fold back like the folio. What differenciates that magic keyboard from the folio keyboard is the capability to have multiple viewing angles and they keybs are backlit and they their is a trackpad also the keys feel much more better while typing on rather than the Smart Keyboard folio which have a fabricy feeling while typing on them.

Yes you can! But you won’t be able to use the mouse gestures which actually makes the iPad a laptop experience, but you will be able to use the mouse as a mouse.

The one upside is the magic keyboard lets you use it more efficiently if you're moving around a lot like on your lap so that the back flat that's on most tablet keyboard cases doesn't slip and slide and stuff. But yes, a regular bluetooth mouse and keyboard works just as well besides using the special functions
