I love the way she writes her songs. It's very mature.. It's like she gives importance to both individuals in a relationship, which i really like. Like, "I've got issues you've got em too, I'll give them all to me and I'll give mine to you...." "The worst in me brings the worst in you..." Normally all songs these days are like how one individual in a relationship screwed up but she's making songs how relationships can mend.

The lyrics are so real. None of that silly..."oh but I love you, forgive me" When you really listen to it, and take in the word's, you can imagine the mental struggle of a long relationship thar has been difficult and full of turmoil, one that has been hard to keep going through with all the hard obstacles. You love that person, you try, but through the emotional exhaustion you question yourself, your resolve, thinking is this really worth it, should we keep trying? All the while remembering the "good times" you have enjoyed together. Do we really want to try and make this work? I can vividly see the back and forth thought process you experience, "should we stay together, should we go our separate ways?" So I ask... All relationships get hard at time's, if you didn't have to work hard for it...would it still be worthwhile?

“The worst on me doesn’t want to work on things, but the best of me wants to love you.” That line hits so hard. She wants to work on the relationship and love the person, but something deep inside her doesn’t want to put in the effort. The way Julia sings this line too, I can really feel the hurt she’s feeling. It’s a constant push and pull relationship. You can sense the difficulty in the relationship when you want to better yourself, but at the same time for some reason you don’t want to put in the effort. I can really see how the relationship is struggling and I always appreciate the rawness Julia gives in her music.

The saddest part is shortly after we broke up, he got into a new relationship and does everything he refused to do for me, for her. It was a painful view at first, but I realized we’re both in new better, happier, and loving relationships, so it works out. 😊

This is so relatable. I was in a 1 year and a half relationship where we’d always argued about how he’s not emotionally invested in our relationship. I was never a priority to him. And this was the majority of the relationship. Almost the whole relationship. I stuck around because the best of me wanted to love him. But the worst in me, always contemplated breaking up with him.

Same thing here happening rn That feeling that your man doesn't prioritize you, or might not actually be as in love with you as you are with him, or that all the I love yous he says might be a lie, is the worst feeling ever if you want to belive it, if you want nothing more than to trust him and love him...especially since he never did anything to warrant distrust

I have been following Julia since her work with Ian Kirkpatrick back in 2012, before ANYBODY even knew who she was. I even have some of her earliest demos and unreleased tracks. She's come such a long way and deserves every bit of it. She's by far the most influential and deserving artist/singer songwriter in my opinion. Her music is so inspiring and touches so many people in different ways, with her raw and beautiful voice, and personality, so many people can connect with her. She definitely deserves all the best. Much love, Julia. Much love.

Julia is blessed with the rarest musical talent and is so naturally gifted that her songs come to her within her imagination. As with all the greatest geniuses her humility and humanity shines through. Because of this Julia is the most beloved of all songwriters. X

"You can go out with your female friends and i'll be totally fine" this is so relatable for me because at the start of my relationship with my boyfriend i used to trust him with everything. But now i just get really jealous and insecure when he likes another girl's picture or hang out with other females. And i'd yell and be angry with him but really all i wanted was for his attention and love on me and only me.
