@@doubletap-z8c You don't need to be a judge to know that. The US Supreme Court already decided that it is legal for a publisher to publish top secret information leaked to it. Unlike the low level classified documents Chelsea Manning leaked to Wikileaks, Danial Ellsberg leaked top secret documents to the New York Times. The court ruled that the New York Times had the right, under the first amendment, to publish the Pentagon Papers even though they were top secret. The first amendment applies to Wikileaks just as much as it applies to the New York Times. It is legal under UK law to publish information that foreign governments have classified so Assange broke no UK law. countries. The UK does not throw journalist in prison for publishing classified information that a Russian leaks about the Russian government. When the UK had a free press and the rule of law, journalists could safely publish secrets from any foreign government.

'Julian Assange, the founder of the whistleblowing website Wikileaks, played a pivotal role in revealing classified information that had significant global impact. Let’s delve into what he exposed: Iraq War Logs: In 2010, Wikileaks published nearly 400,000 classified US documents related to the war in Iraq. These documents, known as the Iraq War Logs, provided intimate details of the conflict. They shed light on incidents that were previously undisclosed, including civilian casualties and other aspects of the war. US Military Helicopter Video: Wikileaks released a video from a US military helicopter that showed the killing of civilians in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. This video exposed the reality of violence and loss of innocent lives during the conflict. Afghanistan War Documents: Former US Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning supplied thousands of confidential documents to Wikileaks. These documents revealed that the US military had killed hundreds of civilians in unreported incidents during the war in Afghanistan. The leaks shook the world and raised questions about military actions and accountability.' (AI)

He is not subject to US domestic law and they have no grounds for extraditing him. Everything on the part of the US government has been a sham since the start including the absurd accusations of rape.
